Cabela's Thermal Zone
Five Seasons replied to Five Seasons's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
I started using UA when it first came out back in high school football. stuff was awesome. For hunting gear, I own their baselayer top and bottom. When i wear just that combo i pretend i'm either a WWF wrestler or a hunting super hero! I love the fit and the ability to wick moisture. It's the first layer over my undies, but my only complaint is that it pulls the hair out of the back of my legs so now i wear extra long boxer briefs. -
still figuring out the personalities on this site.

What Rangefinder to buy?
Five Seasons replied to BizCT's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
definitely need something that reaches out to 100 yards if you're using your xbow but seriously, I have a basic busnell that works great. You can select standard/rifle/bow. Rifle will compensate bullet drop based on some popular pre-loaded calibers and archery will give you a corrected distance based on your angle. you can also select modes that ignore heavy brush. I think it was around $100? idk i got it for christmas. -
assume you're being sarcastic. he's a beauty.

the warmers on your toes are perfect too. i agree that UA is ridiculously overpriced, although it is good quality and fits me well. -

Cabela's Thermal Zone

I also have a handful of different weights. Was thinking that due to the different "zones" this might be a good "chilly to really cold" set. Generally when it's really cold I'm adding another layer even to my heavyweight set. All that aside, I agree phade, it's hard to spend almost $200 on a base layer -
win!

Anyone tried this? It's very expensive, but I'm in the market for some new long underwear and I think the concept of this product is right on. They make bottoms too. Damn Cabela's coupons forcing me to buy stuff I really dont need... http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=1227467&categoryId=0&parentCategoryId=0&subCategoryId=0&indexId=0&itemGUID=12b3c3858de39a10f18a19c4c2be82dd&WTz_l=CWBAB%3BIK-961135%3Bpod9814&destination=/checkout/basket.jsp p.s Why can I not link to a picture on cabelas? that's just silly...

doesn't matter when you back up statements with facts on this website. I've never met such a stubborn bunch. does the cost of your tax bill linearly represent the education your kids receive? no. look at some of the grammar on here as a prime example. But it is a good solid education with lots of opportunities to play sports, art or music. It's not so much the pay of the teacher as it is the benefits. There was a school system in Buffalo whose healthcare was so good they would pay for plastic surgery. My mom just retired as a kindergarten teacher. She was not loaded, and if it wasn't for my dad's income she would probably just be scraping by. I know couples who both teach and a lot of them take up summer jobs.

love me some dogfish head. wish I could stomach the cost though.

hard to tell from 1 pic. could be just a funny angle considering he's peeing. Antlers sometimes depend on food and genetics so that might be why they're not as big as we would think.
-
in all fairness. the education in Tennessee is not even close to that in NY.

What is wrong with this does back?

she seems healthy enough though. I'm going to go with birth defect or old injury. -
what i did, and maybe you can tell from the picture, is cut all the leafs off my left breast side and inner forearm. because i agree, you don't want anything messing with your arrows.

and with the smoke pole to boot! congrats amen. size of deer or antlers is just a plus. the experience is what it's all about.

i've always felt i had better luck with my gillie suite than anything. i believe it to be less about colors and more about breaking up your outline or silhouette. during turkey i've had them walk up less than 5 yards from where I was sitting.

good lord sampotter. there are some beauties in this thread, but you have 2 "once in a lifetime" bucks. congrats!
