    You are not alone, same call same feeling here. I started with a Boss Hen then the name changed to a Boss Hen Magnum, then it went to crap and I never bought another one.

    Early late and in between. But only on certain properties, it’s nice to have a choice of where as opposed to having to take one given the chance. I know some spots produce far greater number of doe. Ideally I shoot as many as I can with bow then save a tag for late ML season because I like it so much.

    I do none of that and run a call better than most, if the call gets old or nasty just toss it and buy another for $6-$10. I buy Flextone and other various calls, I try to stay away from super common calls if I can because I figure every one buys those.

    If NY copied Maine it would be simple, let logging companies control the land (controlled harvest) and control the access. You want to enter this area, come through the gate and pay a day useage fee of $20 per person. Problem solved.

    I feel asleep trying to read that but I’m sure you are wrong about something cause you are a liberal. Merica!!!! Realistically and thankful this webisite is a small sample size of hunters, conservationist and dolts or sometimes a combination of all three. For every one that misses the point I hope there are more that get it when it comes to important stuff. Now excuse me I am going back to eating my freedom fries and chugging a Budwiser.

    We had a 09 Suburban that my wife drove for a while then switched to a truck, I can fit six in my truck which is plenty and I don’t have to smell the dog or dead deer in the back like you do with a SUV. I pop the cap on for long trips so we can pack it up with stuff. Ours had a developing engine issue where it burned oil and Chevy said it was normal so we ditched it.

    I have wanted to convert my office at home into a gun room, so far I have voted down but I will keep trying to get that legislation passed. Lol I have a built in shelf area I can do and it would be great but I lack the desire and tools to do wood working.

    You won’t see an Elk or Moose season in our life times in NYS. Because of Forever wild we will never have the proper habitat to support great enough numbers of either. Add to that Brainworm and Moose are in a bad spot in the north east as mentioned. We are down around 400 Moose right now in NY.

    My father snapped a pic of this Jake today, Saratoga county. I saw some before the last three weeks of snow but I haven’t been by where they winter either.
