I will not give up coffee. I barely drink alcohol so that's no worry for me. Mine is certain foods, cucumbers, BBQ sauces chicken wings, mint. Over eating is a biggie.

Not true. Training season runs August through till April. Heres a cut it and paste from the DEC. Training - You may train dogs on raccoon, fox, coyote, and bobcat from July 1 through April 15. You may train dogs on other small game only from August 15 through April 15. You may train dogs at any time on lands you own, lease, or have written permission to use, if you are not training on wildgame. You may only use blank ammunition when training dogs, except during an open season. Control - Hunting dogs should remain under control of the hunter or trainer, especially on lands inhabited by deer. Do not shoot at dogs; report stray dogs to a local Environmental Conservation Officer or your local animal control officer.

I take a RX for severe reflux, Pantaproprazole. Do not mess around with it, I did when I was young out of ignorance and it would have cost me if I didn't get on meds. I have Barrett's esophagus and have had teeth chip from the years of acid reflux damage. Thankfully medicine keeps me going and free of further damage. My BE has improved over time which I am very happy about. I still go for endoscopy's once every few years to keep tabs on it.

That was part of me email to them, why waste time on an unenforceable rule. So stupid on their part to even bring it up.
-
Side note, what the heck is up with the screwed up quoting system, super annoying. Anyway, that is a link to another thread on this subject. I think NYOD news is stretching the truth a bit. Its not even a proposal at this point. It is only an item open for discussion. Now is the first public comment period so go write an email so you can be heard. I plan on doing so today.

No surprise from Eddie the mod. Its interesting how you turn the other way when certain folks stir the pot, like Grow.
-
The difference is I admit to calling a name, you try to hide from it until some one returns the favor. hahahahahahahahahahahaha

http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/104785.html Here is a link, after reading it over it doesn't seem clear that there is any good reason they want to discuss it even. It seems incredibly foolish in their part to discuss baiting deer to give them tick meds and then in the very next section bring up needing to strengthen the laws to prevent CWD. How can it be bad to bait deer but ok for them to feed deer? And the link to the email to send it to, http://www.dec.ny.gov/press/108581.html

Nice edit lol
-
Uh no, stop being a Hilary and assuming things.
-
You could just read the thread. Basically some people here condone shooting a dog in what ever made up situation they invent but they are not ok with the thought of someone return fire after they shot. And I highly doubt I would see any jail time in my made up scenario, self defense.
-
haha Nice try. I laid it out for you and you are trying your hardest to change what I clearly said was my made up scenario. You seem like you might be weak and scared to defend your self in the scenario I gave you. Its ok to be that way, its your choice, just like its my choice to return fire if fired upon.
-
um yea that's not what happened but keep dodging and resetting to your own made up scenario instead of what I gave you . I enjoy it.
-
Sounds like I got you.
-
I dunno, I had a stand an ladder steps stolen during bow season this year. Thankfully I had pulled the cam that was nearby and didn't loose that to theft too.
-
Can you hang a link to the comment site? I don't use it but it sounds pointless to me.
-
Off topic, what happens if my dogs kill a coyote out of season? Is it dog self defense?
-
Already did, don't worry. I wouldn't want any new members to think it is ok to break the rules and stir up trouble like you tried to do.
-
Nice try rule breaker!!!! If you cant follow forum rules perhaps its time for you to leave again. As I said before, I know you are not referring to me but it is what it is and that is, is a rule violation of this site.

So calling people "clueless idiots" and "citiots" isn't name calling and an attack? I just want to make sure we are all clear on this. Be respectful, do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, contain curses, or otherwise violate of any laws All posts should be and remain courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in this forum, you are expected to obey this rule. Doing otherwise will get your account banned temporarily, or permanently if the situation becomes severe enough (this will be left to the discretion of the moderation team). Phrases such as "shut up, idiot," are indicative of problematic posts and should be reported. Please, remember to stay mature and thoughtful at all times.

I do not know who this is directed at and I know it certainly isn't me but this is an attack that is completely uncalled for and you might want to re-read the forum rules.
-
You might want to re read the garbage that Stubby has posted then. And I am not sure how much more support you can show than actually shooting a dog. So back to my made up scenario, so a shot rings out, how will you prove it was at the hunter or the dog? The point is it is not ok to shoot at dogs or people and there are no laws protecting the dumb people who think it is ok to do so.
-
Stubby made up laws defending his actions and Doc and Grow have stories. One sided stories are my favorite. And you are telling me you wouldn't defend yourself if some one was shooting at you?
