I can copy and paste with some hunting dog folks on Facebook if you would like, it would reach a ton of people that hunt GSP's and train them. Let me know.

Great looking girl, have you contacted the breeder. I am sure they can help you place her.

I love fall and winter too much to move south but the heat wouldn't bother me. You get used to being in an oven after a while, I learned that this summer at work. I have always worked in food service as a manager but the current operation I run is by far the hottest environment I have found. Turns out Jails don't have AC in their kitchens, thankfully my office does (though it struggles). It gets over 100 anytime the temp goes up outside but when I leave it feels great when its 92 outside. lmao I love Maine but really want to explore the western states when its my turn to move. I cant say that family would be a reason to stay or move for me other than my kids, but that's me.

Only on Sunday. I get amazing groups with my JB's.
-
Question, did you stay at a Holiday Inn last night? You combined Physics, Science, Newton and Jesus in one post. Amazing!
-
I can't answer that question but I do know what happens when you don't use a Jesus bullet on a Sunday in May. Jesus don't play that.

Hostage rests will take a vane off faster than Hillary can delete an email if you don't have them placed cock vane up. WB is far better than a Hostsge IMO. I shot one for as long as I remember until I switched to a drop away this past year. I made the move to a rest with micro adjustment. Well worth the $$$ to me.

I'm not sure why they don't do like they do here in the bow only areas here and continue to give out tags as long as you prove you filled the first one.
-
Thanks for ideas and offers, I'm only coming out for a weekend and I'm all set. I live 3-4 hrs away.

I'm gonna guess those pics belong in the screw in tree steps thread. Grow I goofed and got an 8N because I thought that's where WNY hunted but found out he is in 8H. I will gladly drop it in the mail if you want it.

He is the first hard horn I have so far but I know I'll start seeing more now.

Why do people always blame the neighbors? Thats is a cop out, shoot what you want but realize those neighbors don't kill all of the deer like is imagined. If they did no one would ever get trail cam pics of good ones and no one would kill anything bigger than a spike. Hunt your hunt.

I saw Wooly post a hard horn pic the other day and I had to go back and look at this one, I believe he has shed velvet? IMAG0028 (1).AVI

Draw mods for out of production bows are hard to come by, I would not hunt with that way to long of a set up, its just asking for a major issue and a wounded deer. You could try drinking miracle grow.

I use the same method for weighing deer, I always round up 70 pounds.

My son had to hold a toy gun for his gun course when he took it last year at the skeet range and use a BB gun at the .22 range. I know of a kid that looked just like him that had already been shooting shotguns and 22's for a few years.

Its crazy how dry you guys are, we are up 2 inches for the summer (but still down for the year) and I try to mow every 4-5 days or its a hay field. Nate and I are sick of mowing!

After the first dozen or so deer it got easier for me. Kinda like controlled chaos
-
I sure ain't gonna use it, I hope Phade does.
-
Lol I just sent him one too.

Too late I read 50 feet so that's what I'm going by. When I get pinched I'll pull open the site. No way I'll get a ticket. Its my my sons first full year, he turned 12 on 11/10 so he only had about two days to come along. I can't wait.
-
PS I was struggling tonight with staying consistent. I go through that shooting targets every year, I get lazy. Lol
-
I blame you for this. Even my girl Bullet was pissed. Last three of the night, 60, it looks like the bare shaft tuning worked out.

It is super important to match the arrow to your set up, proper spine and about as heavy as you can go in that set up will work just fine for penetration with a good shot no matter the poundage you pull. When I shot 70# at 29' draw and a heavy arrow (100 grn BH,13.5 gpi) I broke the off shoulder on a doe I shot, I also had one were I shot at 30 and the arrow blew through and stuck in a log 10 yards beyond the deer. I had to use two hands and a foot to pull it out.
