Help choosing a duck/goose hunting dog
Doewhacker replied to Hookhunter20's topic in Waterfowl Hunting
Ohio has fantastic public grounds used for training too. I tested my pup in March in a town called Delaware, (Ohio) and the land was great. They even allow another group to plant habitat for birds, 30 acres, and it's all state land. I was impressed to say the least. Meanwhile we have over grown planted pines to use. -

They worry about bird hunters about the day before the Pheasant release I think. I run on all private lands, I have spots I gain access specifically for training and nothing more. That field with the rocks get's abused the day he moves the rocks to cut the hay usually. I offered to buy it and continue to have him hay it but he didn't seem too likely to sell. Or if he does it will be for a high $$$. It has a small pond too, a trainers dream come true. Next I am going to ask him if I can improve the pond, its in the fall Goose flight path in my area and would be fantastic for waterfowl. Ahhhh dreams... -

I have a GWP too. ; ) That's him on the right, his lines originate out of Oregon. Prey drive on all three is impressive. The Griffons don't shed much at all the GWP however sheds like crazy. -

Hank stunk last night thats for sure, he doesn't play well there and I knew the Habs would bring it. It was good to see them getting chippy, the Habs do not do well playing that style so I'm calling the next one in favor of the Rangers. 4-1 If it does go to game seven Hank will school that kid Tokarski as he is unreal in those situation's. -
Outstanding read.

Here is a good new story that shows the grass roots effort is working and with politics involved, imagine that. http://wnyt.com/article/stories/S3452553.shtml?cat=300 -
Not a bad deal, I have one in 20g and paid $300 at Gander a few years back used. Stoegers are cheap guns, fit and finish is ok but not great. Mine loosened up quick. If you can, remove the stock and look at the inner workings, mine needed a hammer spring replacement and needed cleaning but other than that its a good, cheap, beater gun. I find it dosen't hang as nice as my Franchi so I don't use it much. I'm sure the semi's would be about the same as far as quality ect.

You are a know it all I see. I'm not surprised you try to link Lanza to this guy either, what about all the other mental issues these two had. Ignore the facts all you want, you are about as far off base as you can be which is no surprise with you. If you have meet one person with Autism, you have meet one person with Autism. But to you they are all the same I'm sure which is obvious ny the way you threw Lanza out right away as a comparison. I don't really care about any BS you spew at this point, you are a meaningless conspiracy theorist who reads too much Prison Planet and all other sites just like it. You have zero credibility with any one on any subject but are too egotistical to realize it. Carry on.....

Another clueless response from a clueless person. People with Aspergers are not violent and often do not like to touch or be touched so there goes your theory on that. Here read up on it, sorry I didn't use Prison planet for you. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002516/ It's 1 in 68 by the way.

Yes it is a hobby that I have gotten back into lately. I do ink drawing and water color as of right now but plan on trying some acrylic on canvas in the future. Right now I have about 100 ideas back logged in my mind that need to come out, lol

We did our liner a few years back, the liner pad would have been great for me. We have sand and with sand it is nearly impossible to get the floor perfect with out any divets or bumps so I would deff do the pad. Google up how to get the wrinkles out of the liner if you havent already, there is a way to use a shop vac and card board with Duct tape to create a seal and smooth that sucker out. -

"Your 'concrete' argument consists of mind numbing platitudes that reject the reality on the ground" This is funny from a guy who lives in another dimesion from ours. -
haha Not as good as our's that Elmer did but well done!

I surprised so many believed his over the top BS stories and defended him whenever some one questioned him. I even saw in a post from @2010 where some one called him for the ear tag hole and he made up a story on that. He said his dad did it when he went to finish him off, I think later he claimed it to be a bow kill too.
-
Yes he did, that 195bc guy came back on too saying the OG is legit backing up Chasin'. Strange tale

The link I posted went directly to page 47 where the lid was offically blown off of OB. The first accusation was on page 13. The OG may be a wild free ranging deer but I for one do not care any more. The whole thing stinks to high heaven.
