  1. you're alright. the hay should be tall enough by then. probably get $3.50 to 4.00 per bale. might have to out source the baler and equipment though. you're a little too far for our equipment. something's gotta be around in Altamont though.
  2. Tonight it was mostly margaritas. Had some King Sue earlier. Now drinking psuedo sue. Wife pulling out the big guns apparently. She's stepped up with drinking Nightmare Scaphism (17% stout). Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  8. Quite possibly. Billy Powell is the master brewer for Sand City Brewing. He brews beer a certain way to fit that label and that brewery's preferences. He's trying to save up to for his own brewery and label Nightmare brewing. Brews Nightmare in his free time during off hours at another brewery, Great South Bay Brewery, where he first started as a brewer. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  13. stay strong brother. one of us has too.
  14. cream of chicken and mushroom (i normally hate mushrooms) soup. add meat and veggies, and possibly potatoes. then cover with Pillsbury unrolled crescent rolls or biscuits. that's how we do it to save some time.
  15. oh man detox here you come. i walked by some colossal (bigger than 20 count/lb) shrimp at the store last night. they were one sale. took everything i had to walk away empty handed. started scratching my neck, got the sweats, etc. i feel ya.
  16. wild turkey seems to dry out easier than your store bought stuff. brine for a whole turkey, marinade or brine for breasts, marinade for thighs, and then kabobs or nuggets sized pieces brine or whole milk soak. i have a cajun injector syringe somewhere too i've used for larger portions to speed up the process of soaking.
  17. getting introduced isn't difficult it can be read the multiple times with ease and with effort be pushed through each committee. getting it scheduled for a final floor vote is the hard part. the poaching bill died in a couple sessions simply not getting to a final floor vote in time.
  18. i actually works better not to be associated all with the same group but be organized and send in your support letter when they do. other than that it's good to be a paid member just to chip in to the cost of efforts.
  19. my brother got a Magtech 22lr and i got a Mossberg 500 20ga pump. it was some time around my first teenage years i think. honestly he was probably just tired of us hijacking his guns every day. lol
  20. you're not alone. out this way i run a big qdm co-op and realtors have pitched that to sell multiple properties. had it right in the listing. good luck. someone should jump on it.
  21. i don't have any productive land up there to hunt. this weekend will be busy working on a garage anyway. pouring rain quite a bit lately.
  22. turkey nuggets. fan makes a great addition to swap out on your full fan decoy too. for early season.
  23. they're already heading to where they'll roost. call just after sunset. have to be careful because he might only gobble once if on or close to the roost before sun down.
