  1. Didnt know if the box was too small and needed more packing around it. Read up a little on doing so. Glad it made it intact. Enjoy. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. Dont itd be weird and gin is classy. Seriously though if you put treestands on say white pines, with the trimming you're bound to get sap all over. Tanqueray? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Another round wife's went with second fiddle. I have to try some sours before they're gone. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. Like licking a pine tree but it's a good choice. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. Daughter in bed. Wife is drinking the nightmare stout and I'm drinking the ipa. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. great buck JALA RUT! came out nice too.
  7. from what i could make out it seems pretty cut and dry. people aren't going out to buy one, just for use in the last two weeks of early bow. if included in all of early bow season though more people would likely go out to buy one and use it during all or a good portion of the season.
  8. good and bad. wet spring is good for our hay fields and good for buck antlers but difficult to deal with. you hope it's not wet enough to effect turkey hatch too. we raked up the dead stuff and leaves from our front yard and it looks a lot better.
  9. yea i remember multiple years that had kids on the cover. it's tough getting a really nice photo that someone can't cherry pick flaws from like lack of hunter orange, gun seemingly pointed in wrong direction, person not really smiling, etc. maybe the reason for art work some years idk.
  10. Tonights pick but heading to bed. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. There actually is a double but it's a collab with Barrier Brewing. Still a dark theme and called Payment is Due. Being a Christian I feel I should be more penitent than I am with sharing the info about these beers but here it is... Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. This privileged white Christian male is also inclined to say dont just pay attention to the ladies. DEC also included a page in the summary for the youth big game hunt. Those numbers should be a lot higher. Need to get more kids involved, even if there's assumed to be some that didnt report. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. they'd lose. haven't you seen the video with the chimp shooting up a poacher camp with an AK47? lol
  14. i think they're already more smart compared to some people i come across on a daily basis. lol
  15. my wife has custom arrows and a pro series bow that setup cost more than the last handful of bows i've bought. also just like shoes, she has over twice as many boots as i have. i could probably count on both hands how many times she's been out. the struggle is real.
  16. probably true based on harvest numbers we have twice the yearlings you guys have. obviously we have more out here near the VT border and at the base of the adirondacks. lol
  17. my wife loves leinenkugel (had to google the spelling) grapefruit shandy. i'm not really a fan. i like grapefruit though. ..(edit: still messed up the spelling)
  18. bright nail polish from granddaughters or daughters works well too. that's how i've always known them to be done on the one posted and brass ones.
  19. This 90+" buck from this past season taken on the farm was assumed to be 2.5 or 3.5 based on smaller size in body and rack but when pulling jaw it seemed a bit older. We'll see if the lab results come back and match the tooth wear. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. like i said some are pretty good. we have some on the co-op every year that get taken. people assume 2.5 but when pulling jawbone they're older. we usually send in those teeth to the lab with others if we're stumped. usually even an older deer with a "scrub" rack will have good mass. at the same time, i've known of some techs that stuck their finger in the mouth and by feel aged the deer, one said 15 yrs old for a doe. respectfully keep your comments to yourself, but starting at close to 8.5 the teeth will all be flattened smooth! lol also aging hundreds of jawbones each year most have the lingual crests (pointed ends) chipped off.
  21. i don't think i have any laying around. used to but purged my at home shop of that stuff i never used.
  22. if you don't have any luck. http://www.lancasterarchery.com/easton-first-start-recurve-bow-replacement-sight-pin.html
  23. that's fancy. cooks your food and then packages it in an air tight seal. also see it has a auto vents. when temp too hot and drying out your food they automatically open. you're soo smart!
