flowers are for dating. now married i know the way to my daughters and wife's hearts. Friday I'm staying in and coming home with a basket of dozens of assorted fruit dipped in generations old recipe chocolate. She knows/expects it's coming. doesn't matter. lol

you robin hood a bushing or pin nock on a fat shaft and it was meant to be. real trophy there.

i must have posted them here before. went to an outdoor show. i turn around and my wife is telling an arrow vendor what she thinks would look good. we roll in to the show first thing the next morning and the guy has a full dozen sitting there! lol i felt like i was setup.

it's a toss up with fat shafts. i used to shoot a league that didn't go by IBO, no rangefinder targets could be out to around 80 yards for the final shootoff. stiff wind screwing me with fat shafts would offset any line cutting points. shooting normal hunter or advanced hunter class distances fat shafts definitely can help pick up a maybe several points if you're not slowing way down and messing up yardage.

messing around with multiple setups for my new hunting bow. at 60lbs and 29" draw. i likely won't end up with crazy heavy arrows. slow down too much less than 280 fps and the arrows drop in a hurry. i don't have a chrono but speed calculators are close enough. i'll probably be in the ball park of 450 ish finished weight. closer to 500 and it'll probably be real slow. so many choices.

except for a metalic blue and chrome target bow all my bows will inevitably put a deer on the ground. i used to say otherwise but not anymore. i've realized i'm a bowhunter more than i'll every be a target archer. this past season my 3D bow which is a 39" A-to-A Elite Victory with side stabilizer stuffed my freezer. i don't shoot log like diameter arrows and glue in points for 3D. so i took my 350ish grain arrows and screwed on a matching weight broadhead.

I'm not gonna lie my wife has crazy flo pink fletched and wrapped arrows. Vanes not feathers. they look good but more importantly it's practically impossible to lose them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

in all honestly i'm not likely the idea. from snowblowing the drive around the garage that was graded gravel there's a lot of stones that will have to be raked before the mower gets fired up. contemplating renting or buying one of those power brooms that's an attachment for a high end string trimmer.

if i didn't enjoy bowhunting so much and even had a pistol i could truly hunt with i probably would.

if you look done the NRA indoor bullseye competition firing line you'll see a lot of them. 22LR or 45 it doesn't matter. all Ultradots, including mine.

a real man cave hypothetically would have a Barbie Dream House, Barbie Disney Cinderella castle, a camper, a Food truck, a kid size toy play kitchen with LED lighting, some American girl doll stuff, etc the struggle can be real for the huntin dad. "not me but i have a friend" that would understand. nice mounts.
