i don't have a favorite. i have knives that do different things. any knife i keep i like. if i had one that really had one that had some sentimental value that'd be it.

what i'm talking about might not be enough to make a difference. the arrow shaft and the sight plane between the peep and sight pin aren't parallel. you basically swapped sight housings. if the new setup pushes the pin further away from you it changes the relationship between the arrow shaft and your sighting plane. it's the same as if you had a sight with an adjustable mounting bar to move your sight in or out. your up and down will be off if you don't screw it back down in the same spot/position when you take it out of the case or whatever. it's much more of a problem with a sight the slides the housing up and down on a bar than the HHA setup that pivots. i still like what you've done.

i do gun raffles with multiple not for profits and all of them are handled way better for organization and functionality. I've had some very sticky situations too. one the person didn't pass the NICS check due to a technicality. another the person waited wayyyyy too long to pick up the gun. both situations i personally knew them. even if it was meant to be a draw for ticket sellers winning a constellation prize and not for those who bought the tickets, it was dealt with horribly.

in theory the pin would have to be the same distance away from you otherwise depending on the peep sight it might be off slightly. otherwise set that pin to the same height you had the single pin at and you're off to a 3D range. pin housing/sight diameter the same size? i'd hope so to keep the same top end range with the top pin you had before, plus it'll fall within the peep aperture sight picture the same unless tacks just centers the pin and doesn't pay attention to the housing. i didn't do a lot of it in the past but i miss being able to make parts in a machine shop.

Damaged can that got frozen. Beer seemed fine though. Not a bad pale ale. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

We've had a handful around here on the farm over the years. Had a doe that looked like an antelope. It lived to full maturity years back. We passed it often. Passed a 6 pt buck a couple years back that had white up its legs and a lighter coat. Had a spike that was all snow white except its head. Someone near that side of our border shot it. People passed it left and right. Guy took it to taxidermist and then flipped saying he wanted nothing to do with it. That buck was a runt of a thing. He had at least a half sister a year later that was just a little snowy on legs and belly. Usually they're runts unless reaching close to maturity. Also they've been known to not live as long and have internal abnormalities. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

as more and more hens nest late morning toms seem to pair up around here. usually a younger long beard and an old boss bird. see it often hear. had a pair on posted land right behind the house this year. early mornings they seem to be split up. -
i'll cut and string yelps at a good cadence. not necessarily together, as if i'm a boss hen throwing out an assembly yelp. most of the time though its filler with clucks, purrs, and a short string of soft yelps on occasion. if you've ever had hens around you that's what they mostly do. on rare occasion you'll get a hen that won't shut up. i'd rather have a chick speak to me soft and sweet then loud and never ending. lol i feel like some people throw calls that should be quieter but aren't. like the hearing a hunter cluck and pur from the next mountain top over. God i wished I could've gotten out more and didn't have so much going on that trumped my turkey season. this year i got hosed.

those look awesome! did you have a business doing them? that's a lot of equipment and stock to have if you didn't.

growing up we had lots of toys. it's a hard lifestyle to break. even worse when new garage plans have to make room for them all. lol

over the weekend i saw a guy in a truck pulled off the road talking on his cell. he had a lanyard full of spurs hanging off his rear view mirror. not going to lie it looked badass hanging there being its during turkey season.

made it out for a couple hours on Saturday. Didn't see or hear anything. Checking some field scan mode cams to see if any small flocks are around. My only means to scout i've been so busy. Farm is real quiet this year per other hunters. -
i hated world history in school. thought it was mind-numbing. i'm also horrible at dates for some reason despite being an engineer. maybe history is just referenced enough in the day to day. US history though and way of life back then i couldn't get enough of. i'm not a civil war buff either but i'd like to go down to Gettysburgh to see it all. i'm not a vet but a couple who are friends get annoyed when everyone thanks them for their service on Memorial Day. as if it's an obligation for that day to say so and they don't understand Memorial Day isn't about vets they meet in their day to day.
