  1. Lots of great info/ recipes here: http://forum.cookshack.com/eve/forums 3 hours is about the longest I add smoke.
  2. And the more he posts, the more amazing it is.
  3. Amazing what some convince themselves to be factual.
  4. Whitetails Inc tried that a few years ago combined with a spread restriction. Goal was to save all 2.5 and under. They are defunct.
  5. Would only protect about 40% in 7J/7H. 60% would be targeted.
  6. Been with straight talk 2+ years in an area where verizon has the best coverage. Mine runs off the Verizon towers. Will never get robbed by a contract carrier again.
  7. You guys were talking about quickly pointing out a yearling. Was looking for the definition of a yearling.
  8. Short answer - landowners won't allow the snowmobile trails to open until after hunting season.
  9. All that to say you want laws to support your goals and no one else's.
  10. That is why I don't support any mandatory AR. I see no reason to tell hunters that can't shoot a 1.5 if they choose only to have more 2.5's to shoot.
  11. If you are going to shoot them at 2.5, why not at 1.5? A few more inches/pts and 20 lbs of meat? Still a young deer.
  12. You just described nearly all the 2.5's in 7J. How will making them the main target get any bucks to maturity?
  13. Just curious - how many hunters legally take 2 4.5 or older bucks in any given year?
  14. Free range chickens = $15+ each. $3.75+ per lb.
  15. The outrage you say! What - a cervid disease treatment not being given the same consideration and funding as a possible cure for cancer in humans? Maybe PETA could help?
  16. Out of business - tells you something.
  17. I doubt 1 in 10 here could do it without significant practice - and then not many.
  18. Much better book from 3Rivers: http://www.3riversarchery.com/Shooting+the+Stickbow:+A+Practical+Approach+to+Classical+Archery+2nd+Edition_i7832_baseitem.html
  19. Not going to happen. Many of the landowners that allow the snowmobile trail system through their properties will not allow access until hunting seasons are closed. Snowmobiler industry and associations are large and powerful and will fight extending hunting seasons. Southern zone is 2 1/2 months now - that is enough.
