So much is life!!! If you are also one of the guys that dont believe in AR and you are sayin you cant go out and kill one of, If not, the dumbest deer in the woods. Well i believe you would need to hone up on your hunting skills. I guess i could complain that i work a full time job, Have my own business,Have a wife and 2 daughters but what good would that do. Life changes with the dropping of the leaves, Always has! 3 months of deer season, No antler Restrictions, Way to many DMAP permits and crappy soil is the reason Ny is the way it is.

Are you tellin me you dont think 3 months of deer season is not giving you enough time to fill tags?????

Why would anyone want to shoot a buck with less than 3pts on a side anyways? You cant eat the horns anyways remember. Shoot a doe for the freezer. Help the age class and help the herd!!

Nobody in the northern zone should be crying about anything. Our deer season is way to long reguardless of what you choose to hunt with. I would like to see a couple weeks of each. Bow,Muzzle,Rifle then hang it up. If ya cant get tags filled in a month and a half then......

Did everyone voice their opinion when they had the chance or just sit back and wait for the outcome?

For me its nothing but cut on contact... Stingers are all i use.. Sharp angle shots will make you lose a deer many times with heads like reapers and even rage. Cut on contacts will give you more penatration and great blood trails!!! IMHO

Kinda shows how foolish a post looks when ya slam on someone else, Huh Even though someone might need it i do not believe its th best thing to do on here. Unless its on a personal note....Then fire when ready!!!

I spoke with a park police when i was there last week and he said the dates would not change as far as hunting. I hope you all know its about camping and money first and hunting last. I have never seen the park in such rough shape. The sides of the park road were not cut all summer from the looks of it from the perry entrance up to castile, Trees were down out into those uncut areas. Never saw a deer the full day we were there and we pulled out about 7pm. Acorns are dropin and the ground is rock hard so deer sign was about none but there is alot of corn up on the farms so im sure they are there. I hope a little better than last year!!! They were there but numbers were way down for sure!!!

Rage on hard angles will lose you a deer eveytime. Cut on contacts are the way to go. IMHO. Stingers for this bow hunter!!

Point is if you let him walk he has a 50-50 chance to make it through the season. If you drop the hammer on him there are no chances.

Thats why there are choices. Even if AR was going on in your neck of the woods he would still be a legal shooter. Cant worry about another hunter if you only own a small piece of ground!
