  1. I think we might be in for a good season. have been seeing tons of birds for months now and lots of tracks in the snow...
  2. from what im seeing on the Doppler they may be more coming???
  3. And it is dumping snow like you wouldn't believe!
  4. Dude, your paranoia level is way to low to be posting on this forum. Now get back into your crawlspace with your laptop and make post's which speak of impending dome and dread for cryin out loud!
  5. Just seems that the athletes are hammier than ever. Especially the U.S. athletes, maybe we should just call them elites instead of athletes. Looking forward to the bobsledding, Those people are nutz.
  6. you drop that in the woods and you will never find it, and why would something that is totally concealed in your pocket got to be camo?
  7. A little hard to see but that's some funny shyte.
  8. split a piece of hot toast with a serrated knife and spread real butter, peanut butter and jelly in the middle and put it back together. Don't ask me why but this is awesome....
  9. I hope you didn't pay full price for that, it doesn't look like they finished the machining process on the barrel, its not round?? Oh great gun and best of luck with it....
  10. Yea the 50 yard setback will do nothing but cause problems for bow hunters. We already have groups showing videos on You-Tube of deer with arrows sticking in their butts wobbling about and videos of peoples homes with arrows stuck in their decks, siding, and next to the kids swing set. Can you imagine in places like Long Island and Westchester when they let hunters post 50 yards from a neighbors dwelling, I can see big problems arising from this. We as bow hunters do in most part hold ourselves to a high standard but in reality all you need to get a bowhunting license is a free Sat afternoon and a few bucks, and that really doesn't separate the hunters who make bad decisions from responsible hunters.
  11. Its not, its just a left wing conspiracy theory. It really doesn't exist, scientist are all really just stupid left wing pitchmen for Obama and his Muslim overlords.
  12. Yea Pav the gate would be ideal but I have the mailman and UPS guys coming down almost daily. And Grows I have thought about the fake security cam thing and might give that a try.. I thought about an electrically operated gate at one point but don't really wanna spend 3 grand either. Problem is once they come down my road they are committed because turning around 1/2 way down is impossible.
  13. There great blinds and I have been thru 2 of them (bears like them too). I have since purchased hub style Ameristep and Primos blinds which are roomy. The toughest thing for me was folding up those spring style blinds, careful you can take an eye out with one of them,,,lol but all in all they are great blinds and you got a really good deal.
  14. Hey folks, I know some of you live down secluded private roads like I do. What do you all do to keep people from cruising down your road just to end up making 10 point turns in your parking area/driveway or worse just turning around on your front lawn! I have even had some idiots drive down my road in the snow and end up getting stuck on their way back out????? I have do not enter, no trespassing, private keep out signs up but still get these numbnutzs coming down my road?
  15. 150 ft state wide??? I can see many problems coming out of this and they wont be good for us hunters.
  16. Are you sure about this? I have raised 3 kids in the public schools systems here in NY and have several grandkids in school now, and personally know teachers and have dealt closely with my children's teachers throughout and have never heard of anything like this. Sure you might have a rogue nut animal loving teacher who might speak their mind but I wouldn't worry about anti hunting teachings becoming part of the NY state public school systems curriculum. I'll be the first to say we have some big problems with our schools and school taxes but teachers preaching anti hunting is never one I have encountered.
  17. I'm really hoping for the 30, we haven't really gotten socked in up here in upstate NY for quite some time, damn Long Island has been getting way more snow than us for years now?
  18. Congrats on your move to NY. Our gun laws suck but all in all a great place to live work and hunt deer.
  19. That's great, always loved watching fencing, congrats...
