So let me ask you a question - Since you've made the argument about crossbows and AR's as a question of freedom - let me propose this - Can I use a fully automatic rifle ? Surely that's not burning 24/7 from Oct-March? your correct that's not 24x7 - on weekends yes its' 24-x7 - monday thru friday i start at 4:30 at night (after work) and fill it before sleep so it burns till morning

i use a wood stove on main floor and pellets in basement - pellets run 250 -275 a ton. I burn about 5 facecords a year of wood in woodstove - my wife likes it hot in the house so that's why i burn that much wood

for me it's been the last week of bow season - lots of movement by the bucks

i have a model 99 in the .303 caliber - hard to find ammo since it's not made anymore - have to reload. if anyone knows of anyone that has any .303 let me know !

I read it - very good article with a good point of view I think humans think too much....we've screwed up the environment over the past 200 years and ideas like QDM make me laugh, becuase we "think" we can contol the balance of nature.
