  1. I am already seeing a lot more turkeys around with the snow melted off the fields. Looks like a good start to the season, but it's going to be a long wait until May 1! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. I bought Draftking instead of Penn. I am up on Draftking, but doing better with ABNB
  3. That will be handy to have for your inevitable engine troubles. @Pygmy Am I right?

    Ice Fishing

Hope everyone gets out safe. You were right, that ice went fast. This wind and strong sunshine didn’t help. Won’t be long and you can put your boat in though!!

    Ice Fishing

It’s supposed to get cold and then firm up the next couple of days. But I would be worried about runoff and areas near shore. There is a lot of ice in the middle of the lake, just getting there may be tricky!
  6. If you are following the Hank Shaw recipe, save the water you boil it in to help keep the sliced meat moist.
  7. Did you save the brine? If so, stick it back in the brine. If not, I would cook it off tonight, if possible, or as soon as you can tomorrow. Keep refrigerated, natch.
  8. No but looks like a fun game. I have a Ruger Mark IV in my safe just sitting there.
  9. Food like that always sounds disgusting and sometimes doesn't look quite right, but more often than not, it's really good! Any pancake is good with a few ounces of Maple Syrup on it!
  10. Less than an hour for me, I’M IN!
  11. Rob, if you want to shoot indoors, I go to Wildwood Archery in Eldridge. They are open on Saturdays 10am to 3pm I believe. At least you will be stretching you bow muscles a little. And CNY 3-D starts in a few weeks too! Won’t be long.
  12. Any organic debris mixed in is good, except for grass clippings. Composted manure is good too, but not too much and not too soon before planting. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. Yea, but it’s a dry cold! C’mon, the sun is shining, should be real nice!
  14. I pulled a 14” crappies out of there a couple of years ago.
  15. Did a short excursion on a local private pond just for kicks. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. The nice thing about the long slow recipes is that once they are made, they are usually great as leftovers. Sometimes even better!
  17. @corydd7 Thanks, I hope you have a great helper like my wife!
  18. He said that a sudden market drop could cause a sale and then the stock goes up again.

  20. I've asked my broker to put in stop losses on some stocks and they strongly advise against it. One even refused and told me to find another advisor if I did. Don't miss him at all, he was way too conservative.
  21. I think it is the other way around - The J&J shot used fetal tissue, so the US Bishops suggested that Catholics avoid that shot on a moral basis. The other shots - IDK what they were based on but the Bishops were ok with those.
  22. Rob - thnaks! We will see what happens when June comes along.....
  23. How transferrable are these? If I put my wife in and she wins, could she transfer to me easily - or does it go to the sub-permittee only?
