I’m hoping I have as good of luck with browning customer service as you did! I just sent them a email with pictures of a 2 year old strike force camera that has literally turned blue and stopped working. It was on a field edge in the sun a lot but that’s never turned any of my other cameras blue or killed them. Will let you all know what happens

Clear 6mil plastic wrapped around it with a small electric heater would probably be the cheapest and easiest way to warm it up out there in the winter. Wrap the plastic around it leaving 8-10 inches at the top open for ventilation. A propane heater would work too.

If your worried about what will grow with low ph go with winter wheat. It will grow on pavement lol. My plots aren’t all that bad ph wise but winter wheat I plant doesn’t care and the deer love it.

If it were me....I’d tell him all about this awesome new lease I just picked up. I mean really talk the place up. Then either pick out a giant chunk of state land or private(that maybe you know is hunted often) and drop him off and tell him to walk a ways in and wait for you to drive some deer to him. Preferably this land will be at least 2 hours from home. Then block his number from your phone and go about your day. Good luck buddy! Haha

I agree. Most truck drivers these days don’t ever tow or haul much more than the occasional sofa. It’s more of a “because I can if I wanted to” thing. I haul enough stuff around that the extra ratings and power are quite useful to me at least. I don’t dismiss the foreign brands like a lot of people do though. I’ve got a Nissan Titan X D sitting in my driveway right next to my F150. I embrace both sides of the fence.

You should really know a 3 second google search isn’t the answer to everything. The list about payload ratings, where’s Ford?? That list shows dodge as number 1 when I know that’s false. The fact that Ford isn’t even on the list should tell you something about the source.

I didn’t say they weren’t work capable. But they don’t have the highest tow ratings or payload ratings or highest HP. Your reasoning that Toyota is better because they don’t offer massive incentives is completely false and has zero correlation is what I was trying to point out.

Yota makes a decent truck but the factory incentives on the other brands don’t make up for the Yota short comings. Only reason the other brands offer incentives is because they are in competition to sell more than the others. Yota doesn’t even try to compete as they never planned on fighting for top spot, therefore offer next to nothing for incentives. If you looked at the spec sheets and compared them all, tundras are severely over priced when you spec out a truck that needs to actually do truck work. Again, decent trucks, but if you needed a half ton with the most power and highest tow ratings, your not looking at a Toyota, and you sure wouldn’t want to be paying extra for one.

Bought my one son a Bear Cruzer lite back in February for his 6th birthday. He’s starting to shoot really well with it. Got him out to 20 yards now.

My dad is the first male on his side of the family to live past 52. All of them drop dead of heart attacks. My dad has had two heart attacks already, one at 42 the second at 51. He’s 66 now and has been having some issues so I’m not sure how much longer he will last. Females on both sides live into their 80s-90s. Not sure where I’ll end up but I’m not in bad shape but that really doesn’t matter as my old man is in decent shape weight wise and my grandfather was a newly retired Marine drill Sargent when he went. I figure if I can maintain a decent weight combined with today’s medicine, I should make it to at least 70 or so

Nice bridge! Deer will deff use it. I wish I had a pic of the old bridge at our old camp. It was washed away in a bad storm but it spanned about 35 ft. Steep hillsides on both sides made crossing anywhere tricky even for the deer. First time it snowed after building it our question was answered, tracks all over it! Pretty cool how deer don’t mind using man made bridges.

Went there a bunch of times as a kid when we camped up there. I need to take the family up there soon so I can see how well the restoration has gone. Definitely looks way better in your pics than I remember! Fishing up there is awesome. We always got into the pike big time. Good luck!

I’m starting to get the itch for sure! Was just texting my buddy about having to go pick up the rough cut lumber to build the new blind on my field. Neighbor is cutting and bailing the field today and will have it disced and ready for seed by the weekend. Other buddy is coming up next week to help me do a little trail clearing and move some stands around. Slowly but surely getting prepared. Oct 1st can’t come soon enough!!!

I just got back into golf this year. Been out 5 times so far. It’s fun and relaxing to me. I’m not very good but we have a few beers and some laughs. Once and awhile I’ll get a good drive off the tee lol. Been better on the irons and green than driving this year. Glad ya had a good time and you guys ended up with a decent score! I’m supposed to be playing a 4 man team scramble in a few weeks, looking forward to that!

Fully agreed. I love fishing Champlain and do so very often. But the weekends that a tournament is running has become almost a nightmare. These guys are flying all over the place with their big engines and acting like the lake is now theirs. We have maybe 4-5 spots that we go to on a regular basis, and if we see someone already in there we don’t pull in and demand they move we just go fish another spot. It’s a huge lake it’s not like these guys can’t find another good spot. With all the electronics they have, shouldn’t be too hard to find the fish. In Scott’s video there he talks about being able to see fish laying on their sides on the bottom...first off, I didn’t even know the gizmos had become so good you could tell if a fish was laying on its side or not, secondly, if that’s the case, shouldn’t it be pretty simple to find another spot with good fish?

I too notice the popularity decreasing. Might have something to do with the fact that it’s hard to compete unless you have a $80k boat and another $20k of electronics, almost $8k just to sign up for FLW tournament year plus thousands more per round. It’s a big chunk of money to lay out just to wet a line.

Waiting to see what the FLW is gonna do. We sent them the videos and pics. Only response we got so far is “we are aware of the situation and it is being reviewed by the proper authorities”. All they gotta do is hook Tyler up to a polygraph and ask a few questions and it’s game over for him. I know they have polygraphs on hand as it’s in their rule book saying they have to consent to one anytime cheating allegations come up...

Yes exactly. There’s a culvert pipe that runs under a railroad connecting Champlain to a small pond/marsh. It’s a good spot and we fish it every time we go up there. A lot of the pros have found out about it in the last couple years so they hammer it hard. The day before the video, my buddies were up there fishing on both sides with their boat pulled up into shore. Tyler came in and asked my buddies to leave so he could fish it. They had been waiting all morning for the other pros to leave so they politely said sorry man but we just got here so we aren’t going to leave but your more than welcome to fish along side us. Tyler didn’t like that and neither did his camera crew who told them to “have some respect” lol. Tyler did end up casting all around them anyways but my buddies had no issue with it. Next morning my buddies try to get up there early, 45 mins before the tournament even started, and they start a hour north of there. When they arrived they found a guy just sitting there anchored right in front of the culvert. The guy wasn’t fishing just sitting there staring at the shore. So my buddies fished around far out to see what this guy was up to. Over a hour later in comes Tyler. As Tyler pulls up the guy who was anchored lifts anchor and pulls away. This same guy was following Tyler around the entire weekend, we have the pics to prove he was never far from Tyler other than early morning spot holding. My buddies were fully planning on letting it all go until we came across Scott Martins video. A lot of lies and threats to choke hold these “rude” locals touched a nerve. And to watch as Scott deletes all our videos and pics proving who’s wrong in this situation just confirms our story.

Anyone ever catch a pro angler cheating? My buddies did up in Champlain this year. Tyler Stewart using a friend to hold spots for him a hour south of the tournament starting point. They were gonna let it go until another angler Scott Martin made a video on YouTube that had a chat with Tyler Stewart. In the video Tyler claims my buddies were throwing boulders at him and all this crazy stuff. Pretty unreal the lengths some people will go to create drama for social media attention. Bad part for these guys is my buddies have everything on video. When we started calling out Scott and Tyler for lying, they deleted all our comments and blocked us. My buddies are real pissed now and went to the FLW with their videos. Hopefully they do something about it because we all know holding spots is against the rules... Here’s one video of Tyler pulling in and his spot holder picking up anchor starting to get out of the way. And here’s Scott martins video with all the lies. The guy wasn’t even there but calls my buddies right out saying he’d be giving out chokeholds hahahaha I’d say look at all the comments between us and Scott but he went and deleted all of us once we start posting the video proof on there lol.
