  9. Ah ha! So this is why she volunteered for yesterday. 8:00 1st pitch in Monmouth N.J. 7:00 arrival, 5:30 departure. Ugg but good practice for Monday....uh Tuesday’s opener! One and done since they split yesterday and even with a W 5there will be three 2-1 teams and we lose the head to head tiebreaker. 22. I’m on Flu-duty with one son as my wife is at the first fall baseball tourney. We are up 2-0 but the game is delayed due to....get this....deer running on the field! It’s a sign!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Ugggg...DEP (Dept of environmental protection) is different than DEC (not exactly sure the difference in roles) and DEP is NOT the management program. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I think still hunting is legal on DEP land. So is bird watching and butterfly catching if hunting isn’t your thing anymore and you just want to be in the woods. Those can be done in Central Park or even in your own neighborhood...I’ve hunted this program that consolidates 75-120 hunters on 5 properties for 6 years and only once had to change my plans because someone was in one of “my spots” - no big deal - moved to another spot that I SCOUTED ahead of Time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. The forest rehabilitation program is still functioning because there is still a need to balance the herd within “bow only” 3S areas many of which are private and untouchable. DEP has numerous lands available but leg work is required (imagine a google search would provide some info) Many of them are no where near the management programs that are “hunted out”[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
