I just heard on the radio that there have been a couple of escapees from an upstate insane asylum. Looks like they found their way to this forum! LOL Who would have thunk that they were such big AR supporters?? LOL

That is exactly what happens. Like these hunters are passing the 2.5 year olds?? BS! Most especially in many of the AR units where doe permits are very hard to get. Like these guys will go out to hunt and limit themselves to nothing??? Yeah right. Why even bother going out then? What I can't stand is these AR proponents talking down to those who shoot 1.5 year old spikes or forkhorns, and then go thumping their own chests when they shoot that 2.5 or maybe even a 1.5 buck that happens to have at least 3 points on a side. What BS. Like they have accomplished something greater by holding out for their big one?? LOL Pure insanity and not much more.

And what words am I putting into whose mouth?? Prove to us that the DEC implemented AR's for any of the reason you guys claim that AR's are needed for? You can't. You guys cried to the DEC that you don't see big bucks and they gave you AR's. Not much more to it than that, really.

So why do you keep putting down those people who choose to shoot the spike or forkhorn?? You've done it plenty of times here. So NO, from all you have said here in the past, hunting is NOT hunting to you regardless of what you put on the ground! Those who kill the younger bucks are not in the same category for you as those that hunt for mature bucks only. You have left plenty of evidence on this forum to back us up on this.

Antlers on the wall may look cool to you and to some other hunters, but I can assure you that the rest of society could care less about seeing your deer on the wall! LOL Talking from personal experience here. I can honestly say that I wouldn't bother to hunt if I could not keep the meat.

So tell us something we don't already know about you? To you it's all about horns and big money, while for many others hunting is defined by many other things. Make it into a big money sport here in NY and many of us may be out of a place to hunt. You guys probably like that though. Better than any AR is to have fewer hunters out there competing for YOUR bucks! Just be careful what you wish for, is all I will say.

Better yet, make AR's illegal and I promise you that the AR opponents would never bring up the subject again. Go back and see who starts most of these AR threads and you will see it is not the opponents who start this crap. They AR guys have now gotten their way in the Catskills yet they still can't give it a rest. They just love to rub it in the rest of our faces it seems? Yep, lots of class they have.

No the government isn't always right, but why should we think you are right here? Sure the DEC isn't always right. Implementing AR's alone shows how dumb and bamboozled the DEC could be. Bottom line is that the DEC wants hunters to kill deer in order to control the population. If you think they give a rats a$$ about the age structure of the deer that remain, you are kidding yourself. Only trophy obsessed people like yourself do, then you want to claim that the DEC is wrong. They may not be right in everything they do, but at least they aren't BS'ing us with misinformation on this topic. What they've told us is that they basically adopted this rule because of the cry babies who kept asking for AR's like you fellas here. That is pretty much it. They don't pretend that there is a biological benefit to it like you guys do, thus I give them some credit for it. Meanwhile you guys can continue beating around the bush, while never admitting the truth.

Of course killing that 2.5 year old they might have a bit more horn to show off to their buddies. And then they say that it's "not just about bigger horns". What a crock.

Doe, that is a boone & crocket deer target if I ever saw one! LOL AR's must have been in effect in the factory they made that bruiser, don't you think?? LOL What we need to do is to put it in front of the gamecams of some of the AR supporters here, so they can think that they have some more monsters running around all thanks to AR's of course! You can leave your arrows in it too. They won't know the difference. LOL

I thought I shot the oldest bow in existence, but you have me beat by 4 years!! I love it. Went to an archery range last weekend and shot as well with my old bow as some of the regulars there who have all of the latest expensive high tech stuff. I hardly ever shoot, too. If I shot more, I could easily have them beat. Maybe I should ask them if they want to trade bows? LOL

Nope, it's not just you. It as clear as day. As I said in another thread, they will sooner be claiming that AR's cure cancer in humans, before they will ever admit to the truth.

I tell you, the stench is downright unbearable. If some of you clowns didn't already know, it is NOT all about HORNS for many hunters out there.

Like Culver challenged you dipsticks in an earlier post, why don't you just come out and say that big antlers are what you guys want and stop with all your biological BS arguments, when the DEC has said over and over again that there is NO biological need for them. Your biological arguments have absolutely NO validity or merit in NYS since the DEC has made it's statement very clear. They have also stated that the ONLY reason AR's have been implemented is because it's become a "social" issue for some hunters. Why do you guys like to conveniently skip over this point? And all that this "social" issue is, is that some hunters are stuck up on big antlers, and that is ALL that there is to this whether you guys are man enough to admit it or not. So like you stated above, you'd rather have a box of larger antlers, compared to a box of spike horns? Big flipping deal. Like anyone honestly cares, other than those who are obsessed with this kind of stuff. Just tell us that you want big horns and AR's will make it easier for you and be done with it. Please spare us of all the other BS arguments. Won't be long before you dudes will be telling us that AR's also cure cancer in humans. Why couldn't it? You have used every other BS argument under the sun already, other than the real one, so you might as well claim that too!

Please provide us with some unbiased proof that it's been a success? Just YOU saying it holds very little water. And is this success measured from a hunters point of view, or are there actual proven benefits for the herd?? I have found mighty little data to back your statement that AR's have "proven to work". You want them and like them, so for you they are working, but show us some unbiased studies to try to make the rest of us believers? Good luck! P.S. Honestly, me thinks that your obsession with big antlers has gotten to your head. Maybe the stuff you feed the deer is seeping into your water supply? Might be good for their antlers, but from the looks of your posts lately, it may not be doing you much good.

Don't know what the PYSMF is, but with the BBG he is telling us what he thinks of himself, which is Bald, Beautiful and Gay, so go figure what he is trying to say when he says "GETSOME". LOL

Even his kids are fat. I saw them at the convention when he made his speech. They were waving at him and you could see all the flab bouncing around under their arms while they waved.
