  1. I have mine set to take 3 pics, then take a 30 sec video. Best of both worlds! I LOVE scrape videos!!
  2. I found this spot a couple years ago, where bucks seem to rub every year. I put a cam there last week on video mode, figuring it wouldn't be long before they would start hitting the rubs. Had my first taker! A small buck, but he was really going at it!! LOL Thought it was pretty cool. https://photos.app.goo.gl/EiQLDSgYcjH7iLJH6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/tJTvh1SoSgCLXrBU9
  3. Believe me, as impossible as they are to find, I would almost drive to NH to get them! LOL I can't imagine what's causing the shortage! Some shops have told me they haven't had any 209 primers in over a year! Just crazy!
  4. Give him the death penalty!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I might have to rearrange some things to be able to go this weekend. I call 12+ gun shops a couple times a week looking for CCI 209M or Winchester 209 Shot shell primers, but no one has had any in a LONG time.
  6. Damn! You sure have a game rich property!
  7. Happy Birthday! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Cool! That must have been a surprise! Still waiting for my first bear pics… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The fawn came in this morning without it's pal. I thought it was coming to the spilled seed under the bird feeder, but it just walked right past it. The hen will usually run across the yard to the bird feeder first. This pic looks like she wants to ask if we've seen the hen around! LOL
  11. Just thought this was a cool pic with the sun rays coming through the woods around the does.
  12. I've been having a hen come in my yard for the past couple of weeks. Earlier this week, my wife sent me a pic of the hen, a fawn and a doe all in a line coming out into the yard. Since then, they've been coming out to feed together pretty regularly. It's funny watching the fawn trail the hen around the yard and it tries hard to play with it! It gallops circles around the hen acting like a puppy trying to play with an old dog, but she's just not having it! I pulled some trail cam cards today and it seems like the two hang together quite a bit! LOL
  13. Timing sure sucks! Hope you both start feeling better and can get back on track with your trip!
  14. Got a video of a couple of bucks sparring pretty good this morning! Haven't seen either one of these bucks around this summer, but they just appeared on a couple cams this morning. It's getting to be about that time!! If you turn the volume up, you can hear the antlers banging together. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LHS86YcdTPmPaX386
  15. Looks like sun reflection to me too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I rented a stump grinder last year for a day for $125. I ground down ~100 stumps. I thought it would trash my shoulders, but it was simple and quick! MUCH easier than I thought it would be and I wasn’t sore at all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Wow! Most are still in velvet here. Have a couple hard horned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Interesting. Thanks for posting. I wish NY would do a similar study. I’ve been at my current property for 2 years now, but have yet to see a poult! There’s been 6 hens in the immediate area each year, but I’ve never seen a poult with any of them. Have a few gobblers around in the spring available to breed the hens. Last year I started trapping nest raiders and hunting predators, hoping that would help. I took out 28 coons, 23 possums, 6 skunks, and 12 fox. Yet, still no poults around this summer… I haven’t hunted turkey at all, as I don’t think we have any to spare and want to keep what we have for seed. None of the surrounding neighbors hunt them either, so that’s not an issue. Just no poult recruitment… I don’t get it…?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I keep debating...... 20-21". Hard horned too... NICE!!
  21. Pathetic, I know, but that’s about how many deer I’ll see in an entire season… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I cut a lot in the woods behind the house this year, mainly buckthorn and honey suckle. It opened up the canopy and the increased sunlight to the ground made me wonder how broadcasting some fall seed would do. I did some research and read where some guys broadcasted Antler King Honey Hole in open areas of the woods and it grew really well. Figured what the hell and did the same as a little experiment. Deer have an abundance of ag all around me, so I don't know how much of an attraction it will be, but it's offering something different anyways. It's actually right next to a corn field, so hoping it might be a spot they'll hit before and/or after feeding in the corn. I broadcasted the seed 7 days ago and it seems to be growing well. Time will tell!
