    Great, The week I buy a house in Southampton, This pic shows up on a local trail cam.

    I live in cove neck, It’s a ticking time bomb. The population is doubling every year with only cars as the only means of reducing the herd. It’s going to have to be dealt with soon.

    This poor little guy just got clipped by a car in oyster bay

    Lake Huntington. Saw 1 doe and a very large bear last Friday for an all day sit. Drove thru town at sunset and of course their all over peoples lawns and driveways.

    So I hit a doe high,Total pass thru just below the spine. She trots off about 15 yards stops, wags the tail several times then calmly walks into the mountain laurel. No blood at all, not even on the arrow, Which is coated with white fat. I’m hoping a non fatal wound.

    Just saw a real nice bear, stepped out of the mountain laurel for about 3 seconds.He had shoulders.

    I jumped several arriving at my stand in the darkness yesterday, they all snorted up a storm as they ran away. Didn’t see a single deer the rest of the day.

    Same here, just got back from a long trip. Hopefully Friday is the day.

    Nice buck crashes threw window of a hair salon in Lake Ronkonkoma. Was told he needed an appointment.

    I’m in Florence attending my nephews wedding, I leave tonight for Portugal we’re ive just been invited to go rabbit hunting. Now that I’m looking forward too!

    I’m leaving Wednesday night for Rome,, Heading to Florence on Saturday to attend my nephews wedding. I’ll wear my real tree camo cap for easy indentification.

    He actually has the matching jacket, although none of it fits me. He wore this in his early 20’s. I appreciate the offer, living on Long Island, that would be a bit of a drive.

    My 6 ptr that I’ve been watching all summer in oyster bay is out of velvet.

    As I was helping my 86 year old father clean out his attic, I found his circa 1950’s era woolrich hunting pants. That’s what the old timers used, And he shot many deer back then.

    Each year it takes longer, right now I’m looking at a peak rut around April.

    I’ve owned 2 Sahara’s. Everything’s been touched on already, poor gas mileage, hard ride ect. The Jeep was designed for the military, It is what it is. I need it to get thru blizzards and off roading to access my property during hunting season. My real complaint is the angle of the windshield design. Almost straight up, It’s been improved with the 2018 model. You get every rock kicked up by the vehicle in front right into the window. I’ve replaced 3 in 10 years.
