    Sun up to sun down yesterday and saw nothing. Too warm and their still in their summer patterns of hanging out in open fields during daylight. Very frustrating to drive thru town and their standing on front lawns.

    Ok, dead calm. No wind, all quiet when suddenly about 70 yards away a large tree decided to fall and crash to the floor, sounded like a car accident. Almost shit myself.

    Good luck. I was up last week, clear out the road leading in, check on posted signs ect. A lot of trees blown down. I’m probably going up next week probably Tuesday. Keep us posted on tomorrow.

    It’s like Christmas Eve and the night before St Patrick’s Day all rolled into one.

    I always found that scene fascinating. There’s the shot of them driving with Pittsburgh in the back round, next their in the Canadian Rockies, then they shoot an animal not even native to N. America.

    Well I did my annual pre-season scouting and early bear hunt today. I know we have bears around because one got playful by ripping down one of my posted signs and chewed it up like a dogs squeaky toy.

    That will be the last time this hotel manager in Killington Vermont leaves a door open. A curious bear, maybe looking for an off-season deal, took a stroll thru this hotel.
