guns, t-paper, water bottles....magazines...you can really stuff one of those things.
-
should set up several next year for turkey hunting...slip right into one before first light.

In my younger days, I would just be getting home from the bars at 1:47 AM. Great job. Great dedication to the hunt.
-
Perrault wasn't too shabby either.. But those were the good old days when players could play, not be suffocated by neutral zone trap stuff prevalent today. Boring play, but others think it's great. I say" make hockey great again". Back to my Merlot....

Congrats Turkeyfeathers. Well done and you didn't have to break out that easter bunny suit later in the season for hunting...thankfully...
-
Need a hazmat suit just to mow the damn lawn...what a world. dump ticks over Kim jung dumpo...

Not aware of the property owners being warned of the problem of rising waters. If so, then the property owners are on their own. then homeowners run to the nearest TV news camera to tell their sob story.

Doc, you would think our esteemed governor would step in and get the water level down to a reasonable level. I guess this is more complicated with Canada involved. I imagine the same erosion is occurring to Canadian residents. Maybe Trump and Trudeu will work together on a solution. I recall the Pebble Beach golf course was slowly getting washed out to sea by the Pacific Ocean, but portions of the shoreline were re-built to prevent more erosion. Of course, all those multi-millionaires living nearby got things done by being influential, well healed people they are and probably got the government to foot the bill. Must have cost many millions of dollars. I suppose those people owning property along Lake Ontario will not get the same consideration for shoring up their properties...

What's on the agenda to improve your hunting this coming season ?

Planning on hunting with friends with steak and wine afterwards. Sit by the fire...watch the stars..That's a decent plan.. -
Agree...not the participation there used to be. Society is changing, or has changed. Hunting not a big deal with millennials. Properties getting locked down by new owners hasn't helped, but I don't blame them. Just the way things are, I guess.

Call on a professional to do the job, sit back with a beer and enjoy the show.

Reminds me of bow season.

What should I use on my clothes to ward off the ticks? Heading to camp this weekend. Thanks.

Helluva price to pay to watch paint dry.
-
Stupid question but is this an anomaly or does this happen often and only now being reported in the local news? Someone mentioned the lake level being up a foot or so? that's a helluva lot of a rise in water level. I wonder if this is just the ebb and flow of nature around us...some stretch of time the lakes are high and other times not so high.

.....Meanwhile, the Sabres are Pi$$ing into the wind...

Happy Easter with no shame. Eye bleach may be required

After seeing this picture, you are officially barred from hunting 9H and eating at Hogan's...lol -
Plot looks good to me. It's a start.

Oh...I forgot to mention...clutch and grab and beat each other into submission into the boards...cross check someone into boards head first....charming. Orr, Esposito, lafluer, Perrault, Martin.....they could not display their skills in todays game.... plus hockey into June? gotta be kidding. Feel sorry for guys like Tyler Ennis, a skilled player getting hurt playing against monsters 50 lbs heavier and 10 inches taller. Enjoy hockey through June.

I know about the changes, but coaches countered with other defensive schemes to defeat the two line pass. I still think playing 4 on 4 hockey is the key to making the game exciting again. A larger goal and less goalie equipment too would help. For me, the game got exciting when 5 minute overtime and 4 on 4 play came about. I guess the NHL got rid of that? 4 on 4...now that would be something. Right now, I still feel I'm watching soccer on ice.

10 guys trapping each other between the blue lines. Unwatchable for me. Game turned into soccer 20 years ago. Boring. Going back to watch paint dry...

maybe get a plumbing contractor to snake the line going out the house. I assume he/she would use a metal snake. once the snake is installed in the line, maybe use the metal detector to see where the snake is. side benefit...maybe the snake will break up a blockage and save you a dig up.

I impose my own antler restrictions. Rather not harvest the young dumb spikes and fork horns, of which I could have had many. Instead, I wait for more maturity before pulling the trigger...but that's just me. I have fun just the same, with hunting with friends and hanging out at the club....burn some steaks...have a Merlot or 2....
