Seems to me the solution to an issue like the honest hunter reporting his mistake is to eliminate the antler restriction rule across the board, promote the "let em grow" angle and just let people hunt and harvest what the tag(s) allow hunters to harvest and be done with this. I would like accurate hunting records kept on actual hunter success/ tag soup data to better manage the herd. All hunters report in at end of season what they did or did not harvest. If no report in, no tag next season.

WTF...Slobs everywhere.

I do not change much except the blaze orange and the 7 MM. Buddies I hunt with bring the kitchen sink with them every time out. I have pared down to essentials....back not liking all the stuff I used to carry. Sometimes I feel my friends should get some sort of water/air tight container for their stuff and stick in the middle of property we hunt...if ya need something, go and get it. Outside of something to eat, water, knife, gut gloves, drag rope, compass,etc, what else do you need? ok...ok...an ATV would help, but we're too cheap to buy a used one. lol

Visited Dicks in Greece a couple weeks ago and found a fanny pack, just right for deer hunting and whatever. $20 Bucks. Works well. Better than buying 70-80 dollar fanny packs endorsed by The TV hunt "stars".

This and the other idiot that shot the pick-up sure make hunters look like a bunch of yeahoos. Not good.

I like the central House. You must have gone to the North Java Inn before it burned to the ground several years ago. Killed a few brain cells in that place years ago.

Wouldn't mind logging in state parks...seems like a proper way to go, if done correctly. Will help wildlife.
