Irrelevant information that fails to support your worldview, despite your best efforts. Here's another real story about an actual attack that really happened: Man accused of kidnapping, terrorizing, and sexual assault uttered “Allah Akbar,” during assault http://www.valleynewslive.com/home/headlines/Report-Man-accused-of-kidnapping-terrorizing-and-sexual-assault-uttered-Allah-Akbar-during-assault-360576381.html -

I watched the video that triggered this story. No actual or specific threats were made. He is touring the nation taking pictures of himself giving the finger to Mosques around the country. Jon Ritzheimer is a patriot known for his anti-Islam, anti-Jihad rallies around the country. Here is what is going to happen from here on in. You go ahead on focus on your fake fantasy terror threats, and the rest of us will focus on the very real and present danger of Islamic Jihad in the US and around the world. -
And of course having a compass is useless if you don't know roughly which direction safety is. That's where a map comes in, even if you left it at camp. Always make sure you know at least roughly, which is the best compass point to follow if you get into trouble.

One of our cats stole the neighbors mouse trap out of their garage. It had a mouse in, and was most likely a gift from which ever of the cats took it. Neighbor was most amused. I was baffled at the sight of this thing on the deck this morning. I thought we had a secret mouse trap guardian angel watching over us. -
Yeah, seriously. I would never enter the wilderness without a compass. But making or finding some kind of rain and wind proof shelter would be number 1 on the list.

Well, being a Bear Grylls fan, I would try and find a dead camel to crawl inside and then drink my own urine all night.

Well..all the deer were hiding out in the field of tall grass owned by the neighbor, next to my swampy hemlock spot. Bumped a few on the way in. They bounded 15 yards and snuggled back down into the cover. Not overly bothered by me. I sat my stand for a bit but then decided to camp by a tree next to this field to see if anything got up and moved. I waited well past legal light, just to see. Nothing moved. I bet they wait for darkness. -

Oil change and then a small sit on the neighbors patch for me. Gonna see if that Bow 8 pointer is still around. -
Most revolutions are fomented by a tiny group of people. Numbers are not required for success if a small vocal minority continue to act and question. Just look at how education is being destroyed by small bands of angry lesbians.

How many hunters think about hunting outside of the 1 or two weekends they brush the mothballs of their rifles and storm the woods? I hunt 365 days a year in terms of my observational routines and interest in what is going on in the woods . I suspect the degree of investment for many people, simply is not there in terms of how they approach the hunt and what it means to them.

The problem is , with the anti's, you are dealing with people who are perpetually and professionally outraged and offended by everything...literally...all the time. It's all they do. Hunters are generally normal folk, with other things going on in their lives, like jobs and family. But yes, Hunters need to wake up to the relentless attacks from those who live to be outraged and offended. They are well organized and always on the prowl for the next 'outrage'

Curmudgeon, that sounds like a made up liberal narrative push to my ears. How come this wasn't all over the news-wires? I suspect the reality was very different. You'll enjoy the latest real news below however: Muslim US Passport holder attempts to open cabin-door mid flight to kill all passengers and 'be with Allah' http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-12-06/jordanian-man-screaming-he-wants-join-allah-tries-open-lufthansa-airplane-cabin-door -
