It has been a nice morning just no deer squirrels are out full force. At least it is something to watch.

Just had four does come in well three does and a button. Scared the bajeves out me ran in ten yards behind me with this wind I never heard them.

You guys are probably right crossbows are here to stay I just don't think they are a bow. Should be cross guns.

I was more so talking this year only. We had a post on here about hogs and seeing them before the season. Now nothing has been said about them. Just curious. I could have asked how many people seen mountain lions but I didn't want to start trouble.

I would love to see them try to hunt ny. If they did that you know they would put the word out find someone who already has a big boy patterned and pay him money to shoot it. Those shows are why we argue about ars but we all do watch them. They should come hunt the adirondacks with no help we will see how good they do.

Crow hunting is fun and the challenge is what makes it. I have been seeing a growing population around my area towns are having trouble.

Next time you see a murder of crows coming over just look up and rise a gun they almost always do a 90 and fly around you. It is amazing

I have been standing on stand in a tree before and all of the sudden have a hawk or owl fly right at me. Talk about flinching I almost fell out of my tree once. They must sit out there and seen me move but couldn't figure out what I was. It is really cool to experience that sort of thing.

Look at a whitetail classic by weaver I have one on my 3030 and it works great. Weaver is a great name

If you really want me to say let's make it a traditional season recurve long bow only no mechanical attachments. Now do I care if they introduce crossbows no I don't. But it isn't a bow and we all know that you shoulder like a gun it has a stock like a gun it has a trigger like a gun. I think they are right in putting them into the gun season.

I hunt albany county and it has been super slow yesterday 6 shots. No deer moving. I sat 5 hours and nothing but two squirrels.

Last time I checked a crossbow is shouldered like a gun their for it should be in gun season. It has a trigger. I know I will get hell for saying it but those are are just facts. Ok rip me apart now

I am a major bowhunter and I don't want ar's. We don't need any more rules governing us as hunters. If all you guys out there that wanted ar's to be in place actually practiced it now we would see how it works without having another rule/law slapped on us.

Bliet that is the best way to look at it. You will learn something new every year. Every year I think I know what the deer are doing and they one up me that is what makes it fun. Good luck the rest of the season

I have seen the same the scrapes are still being used that means all the buck didn't get knocked down on opening day . I have seen does but no bucks around. Hopefully that will change soon.

What you should have said to the was " well have fun telling a story that isn't true to all your friends". It might have made them think then again maybe not.

Haven't seen a single thing this morning. Had to get down from my stand this morning the wind was blowning directly into my face drying my eyes out. Hopefully it dies down for the afternoon.
