I would wait it out they might start showing up if you are worried bout it take your camera and move it closer down the trail you might be able to find an intersection in the trail and have doe and bucks on the camera plus a better hunting stand.

Come on bubba you don't want anybody asking for a cup of coffee from the tree next to your house? I agree that 150 feet might be close but if they cut it to 250 feet that might be a little more reasonable.

I don't remeber them saying they want to close hunting ranches they just want to stop the import of the pigs. Which if you where a farmer and lost crop to them I bet you would say stop the import process also. I think they would be fun to hunt but we don't need them in NY. They say they just eat eat and eat more if yo guys have food plots it isn't going to be pretty.

I was walking in to a new stand on property that we hunted for years. It was still dark out and I knew there were people in that area that hunted to so I was softly whistling to make some human noise incase i happened apon someone. It was getting to be that time of day when you can see but not really. As I cleared some brush I caught some movement then I noticed that a guy was crouched down with his pistol drawn in my direction. (Like right at me) When I saw him and he saw me we were about 15 yards or less. I blew up at him and he blew up at me blah blah. Needless to say I was out of there because I didn't need to hunt around anybody like that. I am glad he didn't have a happy trigger finger.

Come on now if you think hard enough you will find out the reason they did that. Our state needs money and if we loose our tags it is another 50 or so dollars to replace them right??

Here is the turkey I got last year. It is way harder with a bow than with a gun but that is why it is so much fun.

I was always told that the second moon was the way to go. It is the light or lack there of that hits some sort sensory in the deers head through the eye that make them start the rut. I always try to take some sort of days off around the second moon. Some times I hit it right and some time I don't.

Why where they banned? There is a place near me that the county is rifle and the town decided to go shotgun. DEC says that it wouldn't hold up if you got a ticket.

it is so symetrical. Seeing that out in the field would be hard to pass up knowing that someone else could take him. he is super cool looking.

These shows are for intertanment only. They are all kind of a joke. You might be able to pick up a tip or two but other than that just watch them for the intertanment. I was watching one the other morning and the guy had this enormous deer in front of him and the camera man and him are talking back and forth like they are in a bar. Way to loud for any real hunting. The camera guy was telling him no shot no shot. With a deer like the one he had in front of him I would have told him to take a hike. But then on a deer farm you can do that kind of stuff.

Set that camera lower!!!! nice pics if you need any help finding your deer let me know.

What is the lenghtof this bow? I have a martin vision right now but it is 54" long. I would love to find a long bow that is a little shorter.

THis is my crew. The lab is only a year old but he is comming along. I need to spend more time with him and he would be a great dog.

I agree I didn't buy the sentlok suit and people look at me crazly I don't really use the spray killer ether if you are carefull you don't need all the hype stuff. The new stuff is so it is easier and people have to do less to get ready. I think people are just getting lazier. Just my opinion though.

Looking through some old trail cam pics i cam across the last one. I never noticed it before but it looks wierd. It is a terrable pic but what do you think it is. The other two are for size refrence. I am thinking a coyote.

I have hunted the same spots for years and have always gone about taking time off for the second full moon. I have hit the rut full swing and then saw the tail end to the begining. It differs year to year,I don't think the rut is the same every year. Deer don't go by our calendars and wake up and say this is the day to get going.

Hate sneezing up in the stand. No matter how you try you can't be quite.
