It sounds like you might have awakened a sleeping hunter. Those guys sound like scumbags and I agree I would stay away from that group.

Check the regs when waterfowl hunting you can shoot within 500 feet of a dwelling you just can't shoot in the direction of the dwelling. Also to get the maximum distance out of a shot I think it is somewhere around a 45 degree angle not strait up. Just some info for ya.

Your whole hunting party got to see him and enjoy his good morning and good luck one last time that is something to cherish for along time coming. He was happy and probably wouldn't of wanted any other way. His presence might be gone but his legacy will live on in your family and memory's. Sorry for your loss we are all here for ya.

I love the new fad of putting come look inside I might have a gun,bow etc to steal in my vehicle stickers. I understand wanting to say your a hunter and it is your right but I think those stckers are just a come look sign.

Thought for sure I would see a buck when that wind died down. All the squirrels came out and birds where signing oh well we got all after noon right?

Wind seems to be getting lighter here. I had a doe and fawn come in first thing then a huge blonde coyote nothing since.

How bad is the damage? It is like guys staring at boobs something about it makes us stair.

Three doe and a coyote that was it. Yesterday I lost count of the shooting and today it was 10 or less. Amazing. My front sight on my slug barrel came loose again second year in a row I luclkly brought a second gun because of last year. Hopefully the big boy comes out tonight.

I bet you that was some scumbag that didn't want to pay the sabot price so he switched them to the other slug box to get his sabots cheaper.

10. Anytime out in the woods is a ten for me. I hunt state land and the people where there but you just have to deal. Love being out there.

Bubba plaid doesn't blend in and other hunters can see you. What are you nuts. Funny thing I see all the old timers who are successful year in and out still wearing the same thing.

With all the shooting this morning either there are a lot of bucks or there are some doe tags out there maybe a lot of bad shots.

Saw a doe and a fawn this morning tons of shots around me but nothing running by me. First shot I heard this morning was at 615 a little early I think. Eating lunch on watch then going to go back to the treestand

I should say that I shoot feathers with a right helical (not that it matters) and on aluminum arrows. Trad guy here.

I had a buddy sit where his brother harvested a deer earlier in the day and he said the doe walked right past the gut pile and didn't even aknowledge it being there. I don't think it makes a big difference but deer do different things in different areas. I wouldn't hisatate in hunting that area if it was a week ago the coyotes have picked it apart and the sent has been around for awhile now.

I am refletching my arrows again. > This is the third time this season that I have done it. The first time I thought it was me for not cleaning he arrow second time I cleaned the arrow and this time I tried the tape. I was using duco cement wich alot of people swear by. I think I will be buying fletch tite next. The tape does work well also just expensive. What do you guys use?
