I think you are being more than fair. I would have disassembled it and left a note with a phone number and first name when I first found it. If he calls you get to meet him when he comes to pick up the ladder stand and know who he is. If you know his face and name I would think he would be less likely to ruin anything on your property.

I don't care who you are at 40-60 yards you can't see those little twigs out there. Even if you have your lanes cleared there is a huge chance of not hitting you mark, just the wind out there can screw it all up. That is why I keep my shots close plus not having sights on my bow is a bit trickier.

To bad it isn't up to the police if you want to press charges you press charges. The cop can't just say well sorry I am not going to write a ticket today.

I got on in safe mode and ran rkill it seemed like the rkill was super short. Malewarebytes got rid of two things but I had to run it twice. Is this normal?

WNY I have done the rkill before but it was awhile ago. I have malewarebytes on my computer that being said. Do you have the step by step process. I know I have to hit a f key when starting up to get it in safe mode then run those but just a little unsure of how to do it. Any help would be great.

It is amazing how the deer roam around. From the first week I herd saw 8 yesterday and none today. Yesterday I saw 6 in one spot then two more in a different spot at night. In the morning it was does with a buck chasing. I was all pumped for this morning and not a deer in sight. It just amazes me how much they move and how different it can be from day to day.

My father had sort of the same thing happen only he came out to find it with holes all over. A deer must of challenged his target and then gored it.

Yesterday saw a bunch of deer today only saw the hunter that walked by at 100 yards. He passed at 7:15 in the morning shouldn't he be on stand?

Just had some does spook out about 80 yards couldn't tell why thought they might have seen me. Nope it was a buck that ran by me and I missed. He was moving and I never tried to stop him. I am an idiot. Got to go back to watching birds

People in the adirondack that hunt the big land are in small numbers and those big areas tend to be public. I know some huge deer in the past years that would rival those western deer but people are smart up there and keep to themselves so the don't get everybody and their brother hunting the woods. Those big deer are up in those woods and some of them die up in those woods. Just because you don't see them in the news papers and magazines doesn't mean they don't exsist.

The deer won't run away from your area if you do hunt the waterfowl. I don't think one day for a few hours will inturrupt anything. You might not see the deer that weekend but if you have a food source on your property or something that the deer like they are going to stick around. Look at it this way you might have the time of your life with a couple of buddies that day and it will be an experience you will never forget. You could pass it up and sit in the woods alone looking at leaves fall. Most important have fun and do what you want.

I bet you there is more to this story than we will know. Seems a little quick and all of the sudden.

My father tried them all out. He got a blood light last year and tried it out. He said the blood light does work but not as good as an L.E.D. flashlight. I wasn't there but he said the L.E.D. made the blood pop right out better than the blood light.

Anybody hunting saratoga county? I know os one deer so far being taken, a spike horn but that is it. It seems that the 5 region is missing the hunters?
