A few years ago I bought a 4 leg colapsable at Dick's, camo, No Arms.
You would think you could still get something like that but they all got frickin arms.
I like to practice at 30. I can do 40 from the end of the driveway if not for the neigbots or passing traffic.
Back to topic though, new additions would be a CVA 209, ladderstand, a dozen radial x-weaves, thought about a pair of ultimate camo pants.
Have posted information about the Twin Brook Farms - CANY- Oswego- Onondaga – NWTF Youth Pheasant Hunt. It runs the same weekend as the Carpenters Brook Sportsmans days.
There's zones when the seasons cross
Never done that on purpose, realy. But a few times the feeding hen decoys were out fall Turkey and some curious deer would get close, stomp a bit try to get the bird to move.
I have one, Bushnell yardage pro something or another. Nothing to fancy but it works. I like to take it when I hit a new spot, I'll estimate the distance then hit it and see how close I was. Used it other times to get field - target distance etc., not critical information but very nice to have.
No thanks, they serve the clintons.
The office did a Dino lunch last summer, the pork was like a dried sneaker and the so called famous cucumber salad was all mush and no better then P&C.
Toasty day to start this years season. And hurricaine "my name is Earl" should be cruising the coast for the weekend. Well, maybe take the Marlin for a walk Monday if I can catch a break.
This might be biased but one reason I picked up an NZ lease was to try & fill an unused tag from last year last week of Sept. Perhaps if there was a central zone of sorts to balance it out but it is what it is.
Wow it seems odd to me that either would leave so much residue to make a 2nd load cumbersome. I mean it might be a nessesary thing using a speed load or not. Understanding of course that once the hunt is done and your back at camp / home it's going to be time to clean it anyway.
Know how you feel - can't seem to go 10 minutes without thinking about something to do with huntin`. While I don't goose hunt squirrel hunting is a good way to feed the itch. Speaking of which - I haven't had a good mess of squirrel & sweet baby rays in a while.
In my hands.
I've read on their blog that max loads of 150 may not burn properly and it's recomemnded not to go over 120 for clean burns. Well, the 50 gr pellets seem like a good way to start out but would a 100 gr charge be more then sufficient for 250 gr sabots / powerbelts?
