    Man, just barely squeaked in Carson. Was plotting firewood and just happened to check the phone for time. Crazy that he's playing after that dirty hit last week.

    Found a big boys travel corridor with a cam, don't have any stands close by. He's moving after dark, three nights in a row same spot. Just took a stand out of that area too!

    Heard a gunshot at 530 when I had just settled in, what the hell? Nothing going on here. Probably get out around 9 and check some cameras.

    Some Yogi pics, there were 4 if them in the next hickory over. One was a good 20 feet up. Sound of 4 crunching hickory nuts was impressive. First is right before she tried to climb my tree!

    Yeah we've had this discussion before on the forum, but my seeing my kids is more important than that law. Plus I talked to our local DEC agent about it. Don't ask don't tell.

    Phone is dying, I'll upload pictures later but: 4 black bears came in around 6, and we're going "nuts" on hickory nuts 20 yards away from me. Watching this for about 20, got a cool pic of one up 20 feet. But then it occurs to me I'm in a hickory tree. Sure enough, here comes one and starts climbing! So I rack one in the 10 mil, and it retreats. I had to yell at em to get them to leave.

    Sitting in an apple spot, letting squirrels make me jumpy. Just the barest trickle of cell service, really pleasant out. Just happy to be in the game and functioning. Wasn't so sure I February but other than the occasional click the new ACL is working great!

    Got real windy, tree was rocking her so I got out. Had a doe come in at 615 grunting while a little fawn was bleating. What looked like a tiny little fawn, Maybe a month old, hard to tell it was still really dark. Never seen a fawn that small in October.

    Light Southwest wind and clear skies. 2 spots leap to mind, travel corridor and apple tree orchard. Corridor in the morning, orchard in the evening?

    It was, I don't remember the round either. But full agreement with everything you just said. Ok I just checked and it was a 303 converted military rifle with a 10 round clip.

    This just came in the mail, how the H am I supposed to sleep at 9pm tomorrow night with this on my frigging shelf? By only getting 4 hours of sleep tonight most likely.

    My old Octane quiver lost the hardware so it wouldn't attach to the bow anymore (3 years ago), and THP sold me on this. Mounted up to my trophy ridge sight easy peasy, I like the green lights. Probably use it the last couple hundred yards to the stand instead of the headlamp. Broadheads have to be at 45 degrees to fit, but I like that they are enclosed and I'm less likely nick myself on one of them.

    That's me! Minus the wall hangers. but no, don't smoke in the stand (anymore). I change jacket/hat/gloves before I smoke during hunting season. And never smoke inside a vehicle or enclosed area.
