    Not a coyote fan as most but there "is" a season here in NYS. He/she ain't going to attack you Until season is open they get a free pass by me. This was one of the few turkey seasons I didn't call one in. I just sit there , grind teeth and hope I see them again when it's open. Off my soapbox And I carry 24/7. More for family than critters

    Summer creates a problem with warm temps and ticks. Shorts and short sleeved shirts make you a pretty good target. Can't see spraying permithrin on them as you're so exposed. Can't see hiking in long pants and long sleeves in hot temps. Always get nervous hiking with the wife n daughter because of this. Would love to do a bunch more hiking but fear of ticks has me saying no. Going for some serious hiking in July in Ithaca but trails very clear of tick haven. And always check well after. Never had ant problems before

    A mainstay here. Venison steak cubed , marinated in fresh ginger , garlic , soy , dash of lemon juice , dash of vegi oil and brown sugar. Skewered with pineapple
