Hmmm, our sugar snap peas stems are yellowing a bit. Don't think we over nor underwatered them .Once I got the wife to move our strawberry pot more into the sun they are going crazy. Tomaters, peppers and lettuce seem to be doing quite well.

Neat specimen for sure

Personally I'm not a pit fan but probably naive as tv and newspapers tote them as being the only evil dog out there. Wife ( a vet ) stands up for them Says Shepards , Sharpai , Rottweilers are all more less trust worthy. Media does indeed embellish Pitbulls as evil for sure but like mentioned , it's the owners fault. Our golden retriever is the mellowest of all creatures. When she was less than a year old I was walking her down one of our village streets. A man walking 2 Pitbulls on other side of street on solid link tow chains . Those 2 dogs wanted to kill my dog. Reared up on back legs barking and trying to get free from owner. I carry a Surefire flashlight on night walks , turned it on and with other hand i cradled Beretta Tomcat .32 in pocket Those dogs wanted blood and owner had a hard time keeping them contained. We continued walking down the street and nothing happened but for a second I thought all hell was about to break lose. Glad your lab is okay. Could have been a lot worse. I've only gotten bit once. By a Beagle lol.

not so sure you're wrapped real tight by your posts on this subject. IMO it's sorta sad the gorilla had to be put down Right thing to do but could have been avoided

Pork shoulder on the smoker. After 4 hours it'll hit the crockpot overnight

Have a few chipmunks around liking the garden so I set 3 Victor mousetraps. In 2 days I've caught 0 chipmunks but have caught 4 short tailed shrews and a mouse. Did you know shrews are poisonous to their prey and will take on mice their size or bigger Vicious little things pound for pound.

you made it back from the garage

Sounds like roast beef. I think the venison may become to dry with the low fat content. Let us know how it turns out

Interesting. Guess I've never thought about it that much. I've always looked upon those as tiny tiny scales making up the skin. And you beat me to drivers license comment lol

NICS Is Wonky At Times
turkeyfeathers replied to DirtTime's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
My nics check at a mom n pop gun store last week took all of 5 minutes tops. A friend just waited an hour for one. I've had to wait the grace period of I forget of how many days. Got a "on hold " and if they don't respond with a "why" in so many days you can come pick up the firearm That's what ended up happening a few years ago. -
After looking at gun and emailing Ruger gun was shipped in 1979, new model with transfer bar Going to throw it on a rest one of these days

Daughter just sent me this from my folks house. There is NO surrounding woods for a mile or more and nothing but houses around. Dang, wish she could have gotten more of my folks incredible flower garden, lol. He's prepping for the Lancaster Garden Walk again this year
