  1. Yup. Looks just like venison goulash Lunch
  2. My wife is a vet and just gave me one of these tools to stick in my little emergency pack for my hunting bag. I hope never to use it.
  3. Sorta on a side note. I've always suspected my dad of 92 was in WW II but never had positive confrimation as he's never talked about it. He has a 30-40 Krag with ramp sights I've thought maybe from the war. I asked my 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters and all were aware but said he declined to ever talk about it. Sorta feel jipped not knowing where he was but NOT going to ask if he's avoided talking about it for 70 years. My sister sent me these pics. Marine ! The only reason I got confirmation was about month ago he was in hospital and nurse asked if he was a veteran and he said "yes".
  4. thought the same thing but didn't want to throw him under the bus. I have 5 in the safe and lent 1 to my nephew for his daughter to shoot totaling 6
  5. Today is anniversary of D Day. Have had news on for 1 hour and 40 minutes and nary a word about it. My 13 year old daughter made mention of this. Muhammad Ali and politics is all
  6. fox urine at dirt hole fox sets caught me a lot of coon when I was trapping. You're better off using Sasquatch urine IMO ????
  7. saw that. Hoping referring to a block of food plot as in square and not mineral block
  8. I miss the old days of m-80's , k-88's and T-2000's. Man we used to blow up some cool things. You'd light cigarette , break off filter , stick wick in tobacco end. Perfect 8 minute timer. Statute of limitations exonerates me at this point I hope ?! Why are there no such things as paper boxes any more on a side note???? Those big chest like boxes the DB kid down the street would get his whole paper route filled up with and it sat by the curb. We'd tie a boomer to a rock and chuck in deep hole in creek Easy way to acquire suckers for coon bait for trapping
  9. How about cutting up a gallon milk jug to size and painting it ? I wouldn't worry about it like others said , they're designed to be outside
  10. http://www.cci-ammunition.com/products/detail.aspx?use=3&loadNo=960Typically won't cycle a semi auto but I've hand fed them before. Only used to be shorts and longs. LR's are new They are nice and quiet

  12. Hey, did that deer move when you cut it down? Sorry you lost a friend and Smores at Growies !!!!
  13. Ommegang brewery too....just sayin Trouble being it's 2 hours and 15 minutes from Ithaca.
  14. Just look for some premiere bottle shops in your area. Ones that sell individual 12 ounce bottles/cans are always nice to try a certain kind or style.
  15. No such thing as a guarantee as you know. That statement is the kiss of death and jinx unless he has you hunting the Buffalo Zoo of course.
  16. Meant did you buy it at Premiere Gourmet ? lol FYI Sixpointe Puff IPA is new and supposed to rival Heady Topper so keep your eyes out
  17. Premiere ? Ya, like my stouts room temp
  18. Trial, never saw that one either . I'm losing my beer acknowledgement touch Love ET's beer too
  19. Anyone have any suggestions on where to fish around Ithaca ? Wife has a continuing ed course at end of July so daughter and I have 3 days of fishing to do. Seneca lake ? Cayuga lake ? Tougenack ? ( I butchered that spelling lol) Most likely be bank fishing or wading. Have canoe but not overly enthused about hauling into hotel room at night or leaving it on car roof at hotel . Thanks in advance.
  20. 2 last years fawns jumped the road in front of me at noon the other day. Cars coming from both directions. They were clueless.
