And not a fan. Over the years I've noticed a few times that birds a few days prior and after a full moon tend to get tight lipped. Talking to my brother he agreed He and Doc Pellham ( a few may have known him ) hunted quite a bit together and on one particular day had birds who sat in the tree tops nary a gobble until almost 10 and then the entire tree tops erupted. So my opinion to anyone going out for the youth hunt , don't give up hope if no gobbles at " go time ". Sit tight , birds may just be wonky with the moon and not touch off til later morning.

is that like when my wife asked me to do laundry once many years ago. I messed it up and she's never asked me to do it again. My stupidity was in hindsight sheer genius

Do you pull bird out of strut to tip him over?
turkeyfeathers replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in Turkey Hunting
And yet again this morning I threw on a TV show and guy whacks the bird in full strut. -

Also use 2 blinds that roll up and have telescoping poles to adjust height. I bought a pop up blind a few years back and used it once with my daughter. It was only like $50 I then found out she sits like a rock against the tree and didn't need it .I mean dead still. Until we had a strutter in front of us last year very close. I could see her shaking lol. Trying to think of the company I ordered it from and drawing a blank, sorry. For the money I thought it was of great quality too. Like maytom said, the ones we use allow you to slowly move lower body if needed, hides hand movements , etc. As far as rainy weather, camo strapped umbrella to tree and we're golden.

It's also funny you mention the "golf" versions are more expensive. I manage a golf store and have noticed the price difference We do have a Nexus Precision Pro RF on sale for $169 right now but I'm honestly not familiar with this manufacturer -
