  1. Too far I tried I'm watching with my binos. If only I had a good video camera
  2. He's upwind and 400 yards from me no reason to ruin my hunt.
  3. I have been using "drag rags" as I like to call them for years cheap and disposable.
  4. I'm 6'2" and purposely space my tree steps very far apart for the last 5 minutes I have been watching this guy trying to do "pull-ups" trying get into my stand. This guy stopped and asked if he could hunt my land the day he moved in and I told him no so I will be stopping by his house this evening. But in the meantime this is hilarious!
  5. The reason why it's ok is because its unprovable. Guy calls Encon "I shot a buck and it went on the nei print property he said I couldn't go get it now he took it" try proving that one!
  6. I just walk through the woods playing my grunt call like a kazoo. I actually always have a grunt tube with me and very rarely use it I have grunted in bucks but never a mature one. I rattle 50x more than I use a grunt call.
  7. I had known that a Eco cannot come get or make me let someone on my land to retrieve a deer. That still did not answer if a deer is shot and runs on my property can I tag it?
  8. Where did u find this? I happen to have a 7 year old daughter and we fit this perfectly and she is getting a very itchy trigger finger for something other than paper
  9. One thing you and many others are missing with shooting bows that are out of tune is the fact that you are loosing a lot of KE when your arrow strikes a target and your nock is not directly behind the tip the arrow will whip "nock go to one side." May not seem like a big deal until you need it.
  10. I don't shoot muzzles however I can shoot montecs slick tricks G5 Tekans and rages in the same spot with my bow.
  11. You need to educate yourself on bow tuning or find a new bow shop. Hang a piece of news paper shoot it at 10 feet and again at 20 feet and I guarantee it is not a clean tear.
  12. Not what I shoot but a muzzy is a great broadhead..
  13. Im glad I hunted today the rain is dying down wind is perfect. It feels like something could die tonight!
  14. I'm no expert on killing buffalo with archery tackle but I can take an educated guess and say that 58lbs is more than adequate you just need to make up for the lack of draw weight with a heavy arrow and a smallish fixed blade broad head. Keep shots close and complete your dream. It's on a preserve so the animals are fenced in so it's very doubtful the animal will get away. I'm not saying you should take marginal shots based on that just stating the obvious. And why not take your bow and a rifle just in case?
  15. Rages use a shock collar now, much better design.
  16. There is a big difference between a marginal shot and a broad head failing. Most of the stories I hear are about the perfect shot but I had no blood and the deer are never found hard to prove it was head failure with no evidence. I completely agree with you that blood trails are weird things I've seen heart shot deer not bleed and leg shot deer bleed out in 50 yards.
  17. If you got some heavy arrows something with a total weight over 500gn it wouldn't be hard to tune and dial your bow in for a 20 yd shot. It's a once in a life time hunt seems well work 50$ for 6 arrows and a half he at the range.
  18. I used rages for about 5 years until I shot a buck in Ohio and knew I hit him Perfect after a 400 yard very difficult track I found him and had to shoot him again on further inspection both blades broke off on entry so I basically put him down with a field point through the heart. IT could happen to any mechanical broad head that's why I use slick tricks, rages make big slices Slick tricks leave BIG holes.
