  1. 8n's are great little tractors. For little food plot work it would work perfect.
  2. For an adk boy that hasn't hinted down here in 10 years the amount of shooting is amazing. I think this is worse than Ohios opening day.
  3. It's game on here, well for the law abiding, been at least 20 shots
  4. I own over 30 rifles and I have owned many more and I have never seen a rifle shoot a 5" group from a rest. I would be looking at the scope and mount.
  5. I shoulder shoot when possible. I don't like tracking and meat loss is minimal.
  6. 250gn .452 xtp mag pushed by a max load of n110 in my 454 Casull carbine.
  7. Plans have changed a buddy who just had shoulder surgery offered me a doe permit if I help him drag. I immediately obliged so I'm going to give my newish toy a try. Who doesn't need a 5 lb .454 Casull lever scout gun. I'm shooting a 250 gn xtp mag home brew. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Haha I forgot about that nickname. That bolt works pretty nicely on port side of that little shooter. As a rightie with a dominant eye on the other side it took a long time to figure out how to shoot wrong handed.
  9. Not to get the "ethics police" in here but he was 150yds and running chasing a doe I shot twice hit him both times and this was his heart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It's my favorite hunting! I had a 2Mile drag to the closest road.
  11. Thanks guys not my biggest but a solid Adirondack buck.
  12. If you are using ethanol gas this is the worst thing you can do the alcohol dries out rubber when it has air in it "empty bowls."
  13. Hunting deer with dogs in the Carolinas is by far the most exciting hunting I have ever done. Not my favorite hunting but it sure is exciting. You often see as many deer in an hr as I do in a season in NY,
  14. Although my rifle season is over it ended with my 30-06 barnes tsx 180gn hand loads.
  15. That is a tikka, good eye. She is a little customized via hacksaw so she now nicely sports a roughly 17 inch barrel.
  16. I shot him while he was chasing a doe a ridge below me, he dropped on the 2nd shot. He weighed 176 after hanging for 3 days. Not my biggest buck and not the heaviest but I think he is the biggest bodied buck I have killed. I would have loved to seen what he looked like a few weeks ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
