I don’t think many people have, it’s easy to Monday morning quarterback but when you stop and think about it most of what all the Pro’s on here and the news are proposing sound great but will never work. The only way a shutdown will/would work is if EVERYTHING shuts down. This will never happen because there are idiots that don’t have 2 weeks worth of food/supply’s in their house, what politician in the world in this country is going to say “I don’t care if your kids are starving or are shitting on the floor because you don’t have food or diapers etc. Even then it would be very difficult for the military/police to charge/arrest anyone because courts are closed and jails would be overwhelmed in areas. Because if you can than everyone will be out and if they’re stopped it’s to get “essentials.” What are the cops going to do follow them to their house and if they have a over 6 eggs and a half gallon of milk then ticket them? What you’re proposing sounds awesome but it’s 100% impossible. The responsibility for all of this has to fall on the citizens. As a citizen you cannot be dependent on the government. If trump put our country on lock down a month or 2 ago before anyone knew what was coming there would have been wide spread resistance against the government! My post in no way was invoking violence, it was simply stating facts as to what would happen. I have no idea who the “you guys” are that you’re grouping me into? Comparing our country’s reactions to others simply doesn’t work, the US as a mass are a very insubordinate group. Some say that is do to too much government over sight. Some say it’s because we are very well armed as a society, I’m not an expert in the field but I would assume it is a conglomerate of all those things. When a country was formed after a revolution that was fought for freedom its not going to be easy to take away the rights of the citizens even if its only temporary. To each’s own, but I’m not drawing unless I’m planning on killing someone. Not to say I can’t/won’t change my mind between the draw and the squeeze but drawing before imminent threat has been shown puts you in a lot of undue risk both legally and physically. I’ve went back and forth in this over and over. I’ve basically settled on a red dot. I have used a trijicon RMR for the last 3 years and it’s the best I’ve used. Scopes are nice. I’v ran a fixed 2X leupold and a 1-4 leupold VXR. I haven’t looked through a 50mm scope since the Marine Corps but you’re certainly not giving anything up in the turkey woods with going to a 20mm obj. Hell you really aren’t giving anything up with a 20mm obj on a deer rifle. The RMR is hands down the best red dot “holo” sight on the market, the dual illumination model uses tritium so there no batteries to fail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
