You’re right with your years, I have a 35rem from the limited run grices did and it’s was made in 03. I’m surprised you had the issues you had with it. In those years Remington was well known for their deep bluing. The new ones are the opposite! I also love anything 35cal. A couple years ago I built a 350-300wsm in a boot action and it’s an amazing chambering! Blows my old 350 rem mag away numbers wise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the exact reason why I won’t buy a new Remington. They’re a far cry from the products they put out years ago. The last new Remington I bought pitted beyond repair while oiled in a safe with a dehumidifier. 35wheen is an excellent cartridge. Older 7600’s and 760’s are my favorite gun ever made. If you want a 35whelen that won’t rust find a 760 or 7600 made pre 2004 in 270 or 30-06 send it out to he’s at 35cal.com and have it rebooted to 35whelen. As much as it pains me to say it everything I’ve seen coming out of Remington in the last 10-15 years has been junk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

shooting with one or both open?
Buckmaster7600 replied to rachunter's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Right handed left, left eye dominant. Both eyes open shooting left handed have to close left eye to shoot right handed. It was way harder to teach myself to shoot left handed than it was to learn to shoot with both eyes open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I’m a fellow Saratoga county er, I’m north of Saratoga and have never heard of the places you’re talking about. My advice is head north. Less birds but way less people and pressure. If you ever hear people talking about the heydays of turkey hunting 15-20yrs ago its still in its prime in many areas of the Adirondacks . Birds still talk and like coming to calls. As for chokes and ammo don’t over think it. Any full or extra full choke will kill birds just fine. The key is finding a choke and shell combo that will give you a nice even pattern. Some guys like super tight patterns and shooting exotic metal blends I like a nice even pattern and lead. My 20ga and 12ga “although it’s went unused for a few years” both have a quality full choke in them and I shoot a high brass #6 game load with excellent results. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I probably eat a meal of trout or salmon once a week. Add the occasional perch fry from time to time. If eating fish is what kills me I will have proved a lot of doctors wrong with all my other bad habits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve tried a lot of boots and these are by far my favorite. Very light and a very soft sole so you feel what’s under your feet. Only problem is they don’t hold up like they did 10 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Added a 10 mm 1911 to the collection

If you’re shooting a lot of full power loads you’ll need to play with recoil springs, other than that they make a pretty nice 10mm. A RIA is what started my 10mm craze! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

For future reference when attempting to prove someone wrong using a singular personal experience is very ineffective. Until then carry on spreading your BS . And I’ll keep using facts to gather my opinion, have a good night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

There isn’t argument. When women and people of color make less by choice or by life choices that has nothing to do with the government. Yes women make less than men. They also on average put more emphasis on family life than career. Again not a government issue. Once again prove me wrong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Bullshit, without that flag none of that means anything. That flag should be the first thing on any of their minds. The fact that it’s not is the exact reason why I refuse to vote for or support in anyway any of the candidates from my party. Side note wage inequality is a farce, prove me wrong! I agree the government could do better than what we currently have. By getting their hands out of it and allowing capitalism to work. Like most everything in the US especially college and healthcare one reason the government started getting involved it’s completely went to shit. Prove me wrong? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The question I have is has the Democratic Party really moved that far left as a whole or is it just the old squeaky wheel thing and the farthest left have the loudest voice and the rest of the party caters to them? I don’t know a single person that thinks gov healthcare is a good thing? I don’t know a single person that wants illegals to come and go as they please? I font know anyone that thinks babies should be aborted while hanging half out. There’s many other topics as well but my point is I honestly don’t think the average democrat is as far left as these imbeciles and the left wing media make them out to be. my political views probably differ from many on here however I can’t see how anyone that loves this country could even consider voting for anyone that was on that stage the other night. Not on a personal level either just based on ideas. There’s not one of them that I feel has an agenda that will better this country! Although I’m more of a trump supporter today than I was in 2016 when I voted for him he still has many shortcomings but I honestly feel that he has the better of the country in mind with most things he does. And to top it off he’s entertaining as hell! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have never said the President is the best at foreign affairs, don’t know how that comment has anything to do with my previous post. It has nothing to do with letting others beliefs guide right and wrong. But, you have to understand that the world is a big diverse place. Many Americans have zero idea how the rest of the world looks and lives. I’m far from a world traveler but I’ve spend almost 4 years in the Middle East between 4 deployments. As well as sturdied middle eastern culture and Islam in college. As President you have to be able to work with word leaders. I refuse to vote for someone that will be completely unable to even talk to approximately 25% of the worlds leaders. Foreign affairs is the most important part of the job as president. Aside from his lifestyle choices hurting his ability to be a president he’s also grossly under qualified to be president with basically zero experience. He’s been a flop as mayor in Southbend. We won’t agree on this and that’s no problem. I’ll end with this, as a Democrat it’s absolutely disgusting that we’ve had 3 years to get ready for what many call the most important election in a long time and these are our options. I am a registered Democrat and tend to lean very left on nearly all social issues. I voted trump in 2016 because I think Hillary is an absolutely terrible human being. The Democratic Party has left me behind, although I hate Party politics almost as much as organized religion if I had to choose a party today it would be libertarian. That being said have you considered what will happen if Pete gets elected? How is he going to deal with any issues is the East or Middle East? You do realize most middle eastern countries still cut homosexuals head off in public right? How is he going to sit at a table with Hassan Rouhani trying to make peace deals? I’ll tell you how he won’t. They wouldn’t be in the same room with Pete let along work with him. I’m not saying I agree with their beliefs but the world is not nearly as far ahead “or behind depending on tour beliefs” as we are. One of the most important parts of the presidents job is foreign affairs and that would be made very difficult with Pete’s lifestyle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have a swamp by me that’s LOADED with crappies. I fish it all winter when I don’t have time to head to the lake. Funny thing is I’ve fished it a bunch in the spring and summer and never caught one but in winter it’s awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t know about “dumb ass” insurance but when mine went through it was covered completely with progressive. I always picked on everyone that put one through until I was driving mine on 18” of ice and went through where a pressure crack opened up 8ft wide and then refroze with a half an inch of ice and then had a few inches of snow on top. Happened quick, and before I knew it the wheeler was under water, I was wet and my shit was floating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
