Good to hear! I anchored on the north side of snake hill last Sunday with my girl friend and another couple for a relaxing afternoon. I through out 2 rods with nite crawlers on bottom straight down in 20fow and caught 14 large mouth and 3 small mouths in a few hours. Was very surprised the LM’s were that deep. Good luck hope you hammer them!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I fished in Canada a few years back it was early spring during the spawn and almost every big female we caught had fresh wounds and old scars on them. But I agree the eagle option is way cooler! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beautiful fish! Most of the time wounds on pike are from breeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love to shoot and tinker with guns so my process is way more tedious than is needed but here is what I went through when I bough my new 20ga this year. Before I had the gun I bought 3 different chokes for it. Sight in my rmr with game loads at 20yds. Set a target at 20 and 40 yds and shoot 1 shot at each range with the various loads and chokes. I had 11 different types of shells to shoot when I patterned. I shoot from a lead sled on my shooting bench. At the end compare the targets and pick the most even pattern.

I think you’ll see muzzleloaders in an early season before you see full inclusion. The state already looks at Xbows as muzzloaders and they’ve already made a season for the xbows. It’s already happened in the northern zone. When this happens all the bow hunters X and vert will be wishing they left good enough alone. I couldn’t care less either way about inclusion, won’t change my hunting at all. I’m not for it but certainly won’t lose sleep over it if it happens.

Wow! This might be the best Xbow thread yet! While searching for info on the “airbow” I found a photo of stormy Daniels kid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can’t step in the woods without having to crap, never go anyway without a small baggie of baby wipes. There’s some in both boats some in the truck and in a pocket of every pair of hunting pants I own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Haha, you guys are cracking me up! Chains are expensive and last a long time if taken care of! I cut a lot of wood and only go through a chain or 2 a year. Even with a regular old file sharpening is a 5 minute job at most, about the same amount of time it takes to change a chain. And I’m sure you’re running them until they’re dull! I’ve been sharpening chain saws since before my father would let me run one and I think I got my first saw when I was 8 or 9, I’m pretty good at it. As anyone who’s run a saw much knows a chainsaw should be sharpened ever time you put gas and oil in it. Ive tried about every different sharpener and method out there and none work as well as a hand file for both the teeth and rakers/depth gauge. For my birthday this year I got an amazon gift card from my mom and didn’t need anything but when I was on vacation my cousins father in law “he’s a logger” was talking about how amazing his new saw sharpener was. Ordered it while he was talking about it and tried it for the first time yesterday and again today. Wow! Is all I can say, I say it cuts sharpening time by at least half if not more and it’s just about idiot proof. I’m not sure how it will work on a cheaper saw because it does file the rakers a hair lower than a regular gauge and file so it may bog on a less powerful saw but on a good saw it works perfectly! I highly recommend it for anyone that uses a saw! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Successful hunt This morning. Got my daughter on bus at 7 drive around the block and found a bird strutting with 3 hens about a half a mile from the road. Ran home and grabbed my gun and a camo shirt and went after them. After a long walk and a wet creek crossing and a crawl through a shy field I got to within 20yds of the birds and it was just a Jake. Oh well fun way to waste a few hours. He never gobbled once all morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Still haven’t even got my mower out yet. Have to move a few things around in the barn to get to it and the fishing and turkey hunting has been too good to worry about mowing yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

my current situation, 7 jakes in range and the Tom is 100yds out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Quick update, putting the pants on the 2nd day I noticed a seam in the crotch that had about a 3” rip in it. I emailed Ryno skin explaining the situation and asking if there was any warranty. I received a response within minutes asking for my address and that a new pair would be in the mail to me ASAP. I received the new pants in 3 days after the first email. So far I have nothing but great things to say about the product and their service, and they’re made in the USA! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
