I despise mowing! I mow about an acre and bought a 10k$ zero turn so I can do it as fast as possible! Takes me less than 15 minutes and that includes letting it warm up. I usually mow after dark so I put some pretty good led lights on it. I refuse to mow more than twice a month and would never consider fertilizing it to grow faster! Finally got all the pieces put together on my new toy and today was range day. My goal for this gun was to be a compromise gun not set up just for the short game like all my others because this year I have 2 guys that I’m trying to get on their first bird so I wanted a gun set up to be able call one in with. I wouldn’t, I’m at the point in my hunting career that small small bucks and jakes get a pass on the first or last day of season. I don’t get the excitement out of jakes anymore. Now if I make a mistake and accidentally shoot a Jake I would turn about it but I’m not going to intentionally shoot one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone use this stuff? Found it in bass pro on my way back from vacation and figured it couldn’t hurt. I got the top, bottom and gloves. It’s a very thin base layer. I use permethrin spray but have still had the bastards on me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The top left one from the 20ga is about as good as it gets for a hunting pattern. His 12ga is too tight of a pattern for me but it is a killing pattern for sure. The goal with any pattern is an even tight pattern. The 10” circle at what ever distance you decide is your max should have a nice even pattern without any holes in the pattern. What an acceptable pattern is has changed. 20 years ago when I was getting in the game the gold standard was 10 bb’s in the head and neck target at your max range. Now if you there are guys shooting patterns with over 10X’s that at 50yds+. Turkeys ain’t hard to kill, it really only takes 1 pellet to the right spot to kill one.
