  1. It’s a good thing you aren’t in charge of deciding what people need a service dog. If the dog isn’t hurting anyone I don’t give a shit why they have it. If a dog is helping someone live a normal life or making their life easier due to a disability than I’m all for it. My dogs with me most all of the time but I never bring him into a public place other than the ice cream place, he just sits in the truck when I have to go in anywhere. 2. I don’t but there are a lot of people that need their dogs to be able to live a normal life other than just blind people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ignorant post of the day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Many of the higher end models have motion sensors so that would never be an issue, my trijicons don’t have any batteries and are always on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The sad thing is it’s just like everything else when people take advantage of a system they only hurt those that really need it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You may be right, I don’t know the specifics. All I know is that him and the VA consider her a “service” dog. I know there is no specific registrations on service dogs but he did get papers from the va “authorizing” him to have her with him all the time. But really he just got them instead of arguing or having to explain himself when questioned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. A good buddy of mine that I was in Afghanistan with got messed up pretty bad and suffers from severe ptsd, he has a service dog that’s A pit bull mutt “looks like a pit but shes not pure bred” she looks mean as hell but is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. He often has people calling him a liar and saying stuff to him about it but she keeps him calm in public places and helps him a lot! Not saying one way or another but be careful judging without the facts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Ain’t that the truth, I was in my shotgun stuff “cabinet” tonight and I have 11 turkey chokes for my 20ga 870 and another 7 for my 12ga 870’s not counting another 20 or so turkey chokes for other various shotguns! With chokes being 30-100$ a pop I have a small fortune in chokes! That’s not even talking about the 2 filing cabinet drawers I have of turkey shells that I’ve tried over the years! 9. If you’re close I have a couple you can have that my daughter has outgrown. I live near saratoga Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. If you’re interested I can send you 3 or 4 chokes to try? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have 3 12ga 870’s and everyone of them shoots extremely well with a primos jellyhead, I highly recommend it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If I didn’t do so much waking I would have the same scope on my turkey gun. One of my 870 12gauges has a VXr on it and that’s an awesome turkey scope just heavy between that gun and scope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I’m curious if anyone has ever used some form of optic then went back to a plain old bead. I went from a bead to a scope to a reflex to a aimpoint holographic then I went a couple years hunting with a ghost ring peep but have been back to reflex and a scope for a couple years now and don’t see myself ever going back to a bead. 14. Who runs an optic on your turkey slayers? Even though the last 30 or so turkeys I’ve killed not 1 has been over 20 yards and most closer to half that I wouldn’t hunt with out some sort of an optic. Both of my main guns have trijicon rmr’s I think they are about the best there is but I’m sure there are much cheaper options that work. The main reason I use one is I’m always shooting from awkward positions and with a red dot there is no paralax so if the dots on the bird that’s where the shots hitting. 15. Wouldn’t own one without it. Always have some kind of vegetable or beans “always sweet corn during summer” on the side burner when grilling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. When I was shopping for a “family” truck I needed 4 doors and room for my daughter and dog in back seat. Thought I wanted a Tacoma but at a little over 6ft tall my hat constantly hit the roof in the Tacoma’s and couldn’t stand the blind spots and weird power of the Canyon/Colorado ended up buying a frontier and I live it so far. I have yet to have an issue with the short bed and I’m sure I can figure out a way to fit my deer in it. I have an F250 as well so I wasn’t too concerned about the bed size and was a little worried at first but have yet to have an issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. How do you know that sign was ripped down by a hiker? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This video is far from scientific but backs up what I have found in my testing as well. I just wish I didn’t live in a communist state and could own a shotgun with a 14” barrel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It all looks fake to me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. If you believe this you’ve clearly never been to Whitehall! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That’s the same thing I did for my youth 870, slip on pad and it fits me like a glove. If the new one works out I’ll feel bad leaving that 870 at home but the mossberg is a about 2lbs lighter 3.5”’s shorter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Same gun basically, the one in the shop had a little slop. I haven’t picked mine up yet I’ll know in a few days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. After playing that game for a few years with different providers I bought a 1000 gallon tank and have paid over 1.40$ a gallon since. It takes me a little while calling around and saying company X offered this price and then they’ll beat it and back and forth until no one beats it and that’s why I buy from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Yea, I’m curious who is recommending a longer barrel for accuracy on a turkey gun? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Recommend by who for accuracy? Accuracy and a turkey gun are two things you don’t often hear together. The only time accuracy and barrel length comes into play is when talking sight radius but that’s not an issue when you’re talking about about a shotguns pattern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
