What's the best breed of hunting dog there is ?
Buckmaster7600 replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
I’m kinda partial because I’m on my 3rd one but I have had great luck with all of my lab beagle mutts. Ain’t paid a penny for any of them and they’ve all did everything I could ask of them as far as a hunting dog. All 3 have ran rabbits nearly as good as a beagle flush grouse as good as any other dog I’ve been with and retrieve ducks/crows as well as any lab I’ve been in a blind with. Only down side is they struggle dragging geese back. Not to mention they are just good dogs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

48 crows fell today, was a slow day but we picked at them until about noon. We have to spend some time on the range when I have a few minutes in the next couple weeks. I shot 7 boxes and my buddy shot 6 and we only shot 48 crows with 325ish shells. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Italian bolt action with interchangeable calibers
Buckmaster7600 replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
1300$ 600$ barrels and unknown pride for bolt face. In Europe they make perfect sense because they’re only allowed a certain number of long guns. In the good old US can’t imagine it being much of a seller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Gun hunting in the bow zone-Letchworth

If you still have steam to blow off from over a month ago you need a hobby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Out for the first serious crow hunt of the season. I don’t know if it’s a good sign or bad but I think it’s the first time we have ever gotten setup without crows coming in on us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My tikka 35whelen was border line to my thin, it’ll shoot sub moa, but for a walkabout rifle who cares if the 3rd shots an inch off. If you get a 3rd shot at a critter it’s going to be on its way to the next mountain at a good clip and you’ll never know the violet missed its mark by an inch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Way cheaper to rebore if there’s enough meat on the barrel. I have a cabinet full of devoted rifles and have yet to have one not shoot better than he original. This is the guy I use and wouldn’t use anyone else http://www.35caliber.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is a classy piece of shootin iron!!! Looks like she’s probably pretty heavy! The bushy is becoming my favorite cartridge I now have 6 guns chambered in it, it does just about everything a 45/70 does with less recoil and in way cooler guns. I’m just waiting for the day a company makes one in a semi that’s not an AR, something like a bar in a carbine would be one hell of a deer rifle! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup I’m a cash guy! Always have cash on hand for a good deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No fear of racking up debt, I live on roughly half my total income. All my vehicles and toys I pay cash for. If I ever end up buying another house I don’t think I’ll have any trouble getting a loan with no credit with a large down payment and zero debt. Last year I was looking at a house that bordered my property when I went to my bank to see about a loan I had a little over 30% down and on a 15yr fixed loan I got approved with a very low interest rate. The fella at the bank told me that with mortgages it’s easier to get approved with no credit and a good debt to income ratio than someone with perfect credit with a iffy debt to income ratio. Don’t know if this is always true but the interest rate I was approved at was much lower than I was expecting with a “ok” credit score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The more I think about it I think I’m staying credit card less, 2^ cash back on 2000$ a month in spending is less than 500$ a year not counting annual fees. Flights and hotels do nothing for me as I’m not much of a traveler. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cashless also allows the government to track every purchase you make. Many socialist leaning countries in Europe have done away with cash. Imagine buying a 4wheeler or boat off someone and having to write a check or meat at a bank to make the transaction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My paypal is through my debit card, but PayPal is much more secure than using a debit card online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Debit card that is the only time I use it. All online transactions I use PayPal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will never have revolving credit. I know some people have no problem with it but it’s something I won’t do. I don’t need credit, pay cash for vehicles and toys and if I ever have to buy another house I will have plenty to put down and am sure I’ll have no problem getting a mortgage. The other night the fellas at work were talking about earning money back on their credit cards. I’ve never had a credit card in my life. In the last 11 years I’ve made a total of 3 loan payments and don’t plan on ever having another loan or paying payments on anything but these guys were talking about some pretty decent money coming back at the end of the year. I don’t even know if I would qualify for any cards with rewards because I have very little credit? What’s your guys opinions? Any of you guys pay for everything with them then just pay off at the end of the month and get the 2-4% cash rewards at the end? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tikka t3, I had 2 in 06 ones now a 35 whelen. Both have 18” barrels both weigh under 6.5lbs loaded and scoped, both shoot under an inch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
