In 2013 when I was in the Marine Corps I spent a little over 3 months assisting boarder patrol on the Texas and New Mexico border. As a Sgt I road from post to post with a border patrol officer checking on the posts that his and my men were manning. Spending 12hrs a day riding around with those guys going to every call that came over the radio in that sector was a very eye opening experience. While there I was completely astonished as to how much traffic comes across the border on a day to day basis. In the grand scheme is it a large percentage of illegal immigrants, who knows? It’s not like they sign a roster when they come across illegally. If I have a broken pipe in my house I’m not going to start by mopping up the water I’m going to start by stopping the water from coming in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I might be in the minority but I don’t want the non essential government to open until we get the funding for the wall. Yes the shutdown is on trumps shoulders and I love every second of it! Finally we have a president that’s willing to do what needs to be done! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If it’s corded the best is the Bosch, if cordless it’s tough to beat Milwaukee and Rigids. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

https://www.outdoorhub.com/news/2019/01/21/shot-2019-winchester-new-350-legend/ A new 35cal cartridge is something that always excites me especially if they base it on a blown out .223 case. Make it straight walled so I can use it in Ohio and I have my next Remington 7600 build idea! Ballistically similar to my 35maximum but it’s rimless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like that idea! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh it’s posted on about every other tree, every road is gated etc. I now have over 30 cams up just a matter of time before I get one of these idiots on camera. I also tried talking to the neighbor where they are letting the dogs go from and his response was that he hates coyotes because one ate his duck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a long discussion with the encon officer the other day. I’m the furthest person in the world from the “it’s my deer etc because it’s on my property” but it’s just amazing that it’s legal for someone to have dogs running game off my property. If someone sits 5ft over the line and calls a dog into them I’ll congratulate them and shake their hand but this is just insane! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, but that’s an option I might try. I’ve tried being decent with them and that’s got me no where I guess I gotta step up my game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For the last month I have been having it out with the local coyote “hunters.” If that’s what you call them they run coyotes with dogs. I don’t like coyotes I shoot them on sight, but it’s my property and I enjoy hunting them during the winter. I don’t want every coyote dead because they are fun to hunt but here’s my problem these guys release the dogs on a neighbors 1/4 acre and the dogs come on my property and chase deer and the occasional dog. I have pictures of the dogs chasing deer basically every day of the week. I have found tracks of the guys walking on my property it have yet to get a picture of them. The local encompasses officer says there’s nothing I can do about the dogs because they aren’t breaking any laws. Unless I catch or get a picture of one of the guys trespassing there’s really nothing I can do. Like I said I don’t have any love for coyotes but I have a huge problem with someone having dogs chasing coyotes on my property!! Anyone else have any issues with this “sport?” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Won’t matter, my propane tanks for my heater and stove for ice fishing get no special treatment and never gave me any trouble throughout normal use. Only issue I ever had was -20+windchill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good luck buddy, I can only hope for one year when the shoulders will hold up to a full year of practice, if I can kill a turkey and a buck with a long bow I’ll probably hang it up and only crossbow hunt the rest of my life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lever action 45 colt or 9mm or 45acp carbine for bear ?
Buckmaster7600 replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
There in lies the problem, you didn’t have a bullet or chambering failure you had an anatomy failure, the vitals on a bear are in the middle not behind the shoulder like in a deer. This is why one should not post “fact” with very little actual knowledge, you’ve been tapping about how bad the 44 is for deer and you likely didn’t touch any vitals... I have loaded a lot for 45acp because I really want to kill a deer with my marlin camp carbine. The only load I have came up with is a 200gn Barnes loaded to just over 1150fps and that is loaded hot! My 45colt Carbines will push that bullet over 1800fps. They’re literally not comparable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

45 colt with Ruger only loads, depending on the lever, some are limited to lighter bullets due to action length. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What do you think the first shot cracked the skull for the 2nd one to get in? Obviously the first shot “missed” its mark, a brain is a very small target even at 10” if you don’t know where to aim, especially from the front. I’ve seen people have to shoot cows and calves multiple shots with rifles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

9mm but the bear will never know the difference either way, neither option will kill on a shot that the other would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone drive a Nissan Frontier?
Buckmaster7600 replied to Buckmaster7600's topic in General Chit Chat
Thanks everyone, I currently have 2 full size regular can pickups a 3/4ton and a half ton. Over Christmas my girlfriend my daughter and I took my truck to Connecticut for Christmas and it was the deciding factor that I need something with a back seat. Test drive the Toyota, frontier and GM. I like the frontier the best and it’s by far there cheapest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Anyone drive a Nissan Frontier?
Buckmaster7600 replied to Buckmaster7600's topic in General Chit Chat
That’s basically everything I have read on them. If they haven’t been changed Since 2004 and are still selling trucks that says a lot to me. I don’t want or need the latest and greatest and they have some awesome deals on the nissans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I’m dipping my toes in the water for a new truck found what seems to be a good deal on a 2018 frontier. Anyone own one? What do you think? Seem to get good reviews other than people calling them dated and low tech but that’s a selling point for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree but there’s no reason to make up numbers and lie either. I’ve never had one scored and never will, I just laugh at what guys think their bucks score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
