    Boy this is a bit depressing 5th sit for 13 hours and have not seen a deer from stand. Another 30 min gotta get down and head to work. Still not sure the extended 2 weeks is a plus for my spots! Lol Ok yea it beats working Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I have dabbled with different scents over the years. I think most of them are worthless if not all but my human nature takes over and I keep trying lol. A couple I don't think are complete waste but these are not really attractants...Ever Calm and Deer Dander. I do have pretty good results with transplanted scrape dirt and licking branches. I also have been known to use real tarsals. At this point i wonder how much Tinks has been poured around stands and do the deer actually avoid it now lol.     Is anyone actively working on solving the issues? Hottest time of the year for this site to be all hogged up!! I have figued out when you post just refresh and your post gets posted. Do not hit again and again!! I have seen some posts like 5 times!!

    I think this is something that is very location specific and can change for sure. I have some areas that there are definitley trails that deer have used for years. If food and cover are there and not overpressured they usually won't change. That said it can all end quick. Just a tree falling in the wrong place, a year without mast, someones dog(s) running deer...lots of things can end the way it used to be quickly! One year I shot the biggest matriarch doe from out back and the does left changed pattern and it never changed back again. Ruined a real good stand. The key is if things change be aware not stubborn and adapt.

    10/4 am 51 Out back for a 2 hour morning sit. I am not off to a great start. Sit 4 and I have yet to see a deer from the stand. It was a nice morning, quiet and dark. Did not even see a squirell until after 8am.

    10/2 am 64 Out back for a 3 hour sit. It had rained a lot overnight and it was very quiet out. No t a thing moving. It is 72 for temps later so I will not be out.

    Back in stand bumped a doe and fawn on way out at 11, bumped 2 around the same spot on my way back in 4 hours later and one more near stand. Jeesh let one walk by me in stand! It's a bit warm now 64 had a mosquito bite me on way in rrrrr Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
