There are plenty of states that get snow that have way lower taxes than us. I would be willing to bet all of them do....

Yes my taxes went down and yes i own my house. Well the bank and I. I live upstate, my taxes aren't high enough for Salt to matter...and why should the rest of the country pay for our ridiculous taxes here in this overspending state...

Lets see, Gas prices wouldn't be 60-70% higher. We wouldn't have shutdown the keystone pipeline. We wouldn't be paying people to stay home instead of working. We would have kept building the border wall and kept the millions of illegals out that have flooded into this country along with all the drugs they are bringing in. (and we can't say Dems don't want them to vote anymore because they are doing just that here in NYS) We wouldn't have raised taxes on business. (which affects me and my wallet) We wouldn't have had a infrastructure bill that was about 5% infrastructure and directly affected inflation. We wouldn't have bailed out States that made the wrong decisions and destroyed their economy. We wouldn't have vaccine mandates. We wouldn't have runaway inflation caused directly by a war on fossil fuels and a lack of workers as well as unnecessary government spending. Which BTW is directly causing supply chain issues. We would have kept working hard on therapeutics, monoclonal antibodies etc. instead of doubling and tripling down on a vaccine that isn't a vaccine. We wouldn't have mandates and subsidies for electric cars. Those are just off the top of my head...

Simple, people think you are a lefty because you voted for the most left leaning administration in History. Harris's voting record is more left than Bernie Sanders who is an admitted socialist. If you didn't think this would be a liberal administration, you weren't reading between the lines very well. Thank goodness there are 2 sane democrats left in the world with Manchin and Senima blocking most of the stuff that would absolutely ruin this country. There is nothing right of center with this administration. Now if you took a step back and said whoa, i really screwed the pooch with this debacle of an administration like a substantial amount of his voting block according to his poll numbers. It would lead to more credibility with you supposedly being right leaning. But you don't, you double down, every time. So it would be common sense for us to think you like these lefty policies and thus......well you know... Now that being said. I have never not been one that can't be friends with someone with opposing views. I will admit that I am finding that harder and harder to accomplish the more these left leaning policies effect my wallet and daily choices. There are a lot of people on here that probably can't be friends with someone with opposing views and that is sad, but this last year has showed me why that is the case. You wouldn't open your friends wallet and take money out of it when they aren't looking. Well that is what every single person that voted for this administration has done to me and every other member of this forum no matter which way you lean. Is that a friend or a foe? I still like to think i could go fishing or hunting with you and enjoy it. I really hope i can keep that up. I guess we'll see.

If Biden really wanted to unite this country he could do one thing very quickly. He could get rid of all these vaccine mandates. Look at the infighting just on this forum from fairly like minded individuals. The threads that have anything to do with covid become longer than all but Live from the Woods. I've been here since 2013 and never seen anything like it. Even during the Obama years. Even the so called lefties on the site aren't the lefties we all complain about. Maybe I'm wrong but i would be willing to bet that none of them have, thrown things at police officers, torn down a statue or attended a BLM rally. That doesn't mean i have to agree with their politics. It shows just how divided our nation is. It kind of shows you how neighbors fought neighbors and Fathers fought sons in the Civil war. When you think about that, its really kinda scary. I'm willing to bet that if i met @Chef, i would think he was a pretty good guy. I have met @Splitearand he is a good guy. I had every intention of getting the vaccine a year ago when they became available. I was glad my parents got their vaccine just because of their age. I just wanted to take a wait and see approach. A few months to see what happens with it all. The longer the vaccine has been available, the more i dislike it and the less it seems it will do for me. You can't find a single thing on what the side effects are. There are side effects to Advil so there has to be some. The constant push for a leaky vaccine also gives me pause. Overall, I am happy i took the wait and see approach so far. Maybe someday that will be the wrong decision. But it was my decision and not one i want to be forced in to just to maintain a normal life. I can't understand how some can't see that, but i guess that is your choice, just like i made mine.

Good luck with the Ram. The lease is up on my 19' Silverado in October. I have never owned anything but Chevys but I may look at the Ram this time. They are nice looking trucks. Although if I can get the 6.2, i may go that direction.

Yes, the shooting rail holds the wrap out plenty far enough to crawl under it....Some of the guys cut the wrap and overlap it to kinda give you a doorway. I haven't felt that is necessary.

Trump had to fight off the democrats before he even stepped foot in the white house. Leaders were calling him an illegitimate president etc. Were talking impeachment before he was even sworn in. Talked about non existent russian collusion in our election. Used a corrupt FBI to try and bring down a sitting president. All of the media talked about it every day like it was fact. And Trump is the one that was a danger to our democracy? Come on.... Now did Trump respond like a 3 year old? Yes. Was he wrong when he was calling Russian Collusion fake news? Nope

We have a ton of stands and they are all ladder stands with the exception of a couple tripods. We wrap them all with that burlap camo everyone knows about. We replace it roughly every other year.... Helps with hand movements and messing with your phone etc...IMO

Your last sentence sums it up. Life is about choices. Nobody on here is arguing you shouldn't have gotten the vaccine if you feel that is your best choice. Nobody is arguing you shouldn't wear a mask if you want too. We are arguing that we shouldn't be made to wear a mask or get a vaccine. We want the choice... My best friend and i went out to Tug and went snowmobiling yesterday. All the way back he was harping on me to get the vaccine. Not for any health reason, but because he wants to go back to Canada snowmobiling. Something we have done a few times a winter for the last 20+ years. I can't go because I don't have the vaccine. But millions can pour over our border without it.... All i want is the choice!
