I did that last year, except didn't realize it until i went to grab my bow off the hook to climb down and noticed my release still hanging on the bow. Good thing nothing i wanted to take a swing at came through....

Live from my desk. Just catching up.... Got out Saturday for the evening sit on the farm i got permission to hunt last spring. Got a treestand set last week (late as always). Didn't see anything but the deer are there. Have to get a camera out... Hunted on Sunday morning on the lease. Once again didn't see anything. Unusual to not at least see something on the lease....I was looking down a powerline and could see a long way. Nothing even crossed it. Back out next weekend...

OMG, I should have done that too the guys on the lease before they switched to cell cams......OMG that would be so funny. Somone has to try it!

I guess all I was saying is don't rule it out. Especially if you have never tried it. I am more accurate with my bow at 25 yds than I am with a crossbow freehand. You also mentioned rifle hunting so that is a million times easier than a crossbow.

I don't have any cell cams. Told myself i was going to get a couple this season but it didn't happen....If i did have one, and it showed a buck was on its way, i would put my phone down, stop posting on this forum, stand up and hook on my release!

Very admirable decision....More people should be like that..... Just a question, I understand people that are very into archery not being into crossbow. I also understand the crossgun comments and not considering it real archery. But how is sitting home on the couch better than not using a crossbow? Especially if you gun hunt.....

We got no answers last night. We already know Trumps policies.....America First, Less Taxes, Less Regulation, More rights....etc... Biden said- he doesn't support the green new deal, then said the green deal will pay for itself. We didn't hear him explain why he signed the Manifesto with Bernie Sanders that he would implement it. We didn't hear Bidens covid plan. Other than we need to open and get jobs back and Trump did it wrong. But it is Dem run states that are still closed. We didn't hear Biden's law enforcement plan other than it needs to be fair and we need to hold cops accountable. Apparently the ones being shot at need to be held accountable for firing back. We didn't hear Biden explain his spying on Trump, His misuse of the FBI, The money his son has gotten from Russia, Ukraine and China. We didn't hear what Biden will do to the supreme court. Biden didn't answer a single question that anyone that is a moderate should want to know the answers too before considering voting for him....

I agree with this 100%. Trump is an ass but i agree with all of his policies......No matter what he does he wouldn't get a fair shake so it doesn't really matter....
