Had i ever purchased a firearm. I would have purchased several off gunbroker, both new and used, shipped to my FFL. Easy peasy......I think i would pay more than I should for transfer but it is easy and very local.

Yes, you are correct, i was duped by my larger paycheck, and less taxes on the business i run which in turn created lower costs for my customers and a larger bonus for my family. Can't wait to have to give that back....! I'll be feeling much better after that....Thank you

First, i agree with everyone that says there really isn't anything you can do about it other than maybe ruin your chances of hunting so tread lightly. Second, I am assuming this person is younger. People go through stages in life as they get older. 15 years ago, i would have gladly killed a spike horn or any other deer i had a tag for, and I would have no patience if i didn't see deer. Now i am just happy being out in the woods. As you get older, you enjoy the things about hunting that you didn't pay attention too when you were younger. Watching the squirrels, the sunrise or set, the woods wake up etc. I am guessing he will get to that point as well so mentor him and hang in there. Maybe 5 years from now it will be a great relationship.....

Well i was out there because of Covid and got two birds. First time i actually really put effort into Turkey hunting. I am sure i wasn't the only one....

The ACA hurt every single person that had affordable private health insurance and helped a few that didn't have it.... @Splitear, I am glad it helped your Mom and Dad, but I don't personally know a single person it helped and I know many that it hurt....

I go up to Canada snowmobiling 3 or 4 times a season. (probably not this year) I have never spoken to a Canadian that thinks their healthcare system is good and many that have come here for services. You wait months for something as simple as an MRI... The owner of the hotel we stay at rants about it every time we stay there and people speak to us about how lucky we are to be Americans all the time. I tell them not to worry, we are catching up and will be passing them....

Catching up....Congrats on some more beautiful deer.....and especially you guys with your kids with you! 7 of us hunted the lease yesterday morning and not one of us saw a deer. We haven't taken a single buck. Worse year ever.... Happy Belated Thanksgiving to you all....
