  1. Very cool! They don't hit mine hard (doing some minor nibbling now) until after a few good frosts.
  2. Your assumption was correct. These are official police dogs.......
  3. Be careful what you wish for. I certainly don't want them rooting around my food plots!
  4. I'll be out there....can't wait! I washed my hunting clothes today and hung them out on the back porch because it was threatening to rain. Been practicing with the bow daily. Not seeing many pics on the cameras though, that has me a little concerned.
  5. I think I will try that next time....I'm pretty sure I already know the results though. I was wearing rubber boots and that didn't make any difference.
  6. Ok, so maybe the title is a little dramatic. Yesterday my trooper buddy brought his dogs over for some training. I ran through the woods, then climbed into a stand. He found me easily, then was rewarded by being allowed to bite me. We also did some bite work with his dog that is about to retire.
  7. i read that they can start breeding at 6 months of age, and can have 3 litters a year, with 6-8 per litter! SHOOT ON SIGHT!!!
  8. Wow!! Great looking buck...hope you get a shot at him. Looking forward to seeing you knock him down!
  9. Looks like you're going to get your wish.....they're calling for a low of 28 here Friday night!
  10. I've got mostly red oaks on my property. Last year they were loaded and the deer hammered them. This year.......nothing!
  11. Gallagher fencing works good from everything I've read. Solar powered electric......
  12. Here's a shot of some brassicas and kale I planted at the end of July A view from a ladder stand clover plot in the woods 2 acres of corn some hybrid poplars planted April 27th as 8" cuttings, some are over 9' tall now!
  13. All set.....stands up, lanes cut, firewood done, now practicing daily with the bow. The only reason for me to go back to the woods now is to check cameras.
  14. That's too bad! Hopefully, another big one like that will move into the area to take his place.
  15. That's too bad you couldn't get the corn in earlier, but looks like you'll be fine with the other plots. Looking good!
  16. great looking plot....and nice buck working his way through.
  17. I was just checking out all your plot pictures Bubba. Looking great!!! You should be pulling plenty of deer with them during the season.
  18. The ground looks like it's worked up really nice!
  19. I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet....been crazy at work. Tomorrow morning it comes home.
  20. I plant them every year (rotating plots) and they get hammered every year.....always after we get a couple hard frosts.
