SB 4739 - Establishes the yearling buck protection program
nyantler replied to Rebel Darling's topic in Deer Hunting
I think this is an important point... -
What difference does it make? He still is the 45th President of the US... Doesn't matter who showed up, how many showed up, who protested, who didn't like it or how much liberal snowflakes cried. He rallied enough Americans to elect him President and the fact that you snowflakes are having such a hard time with it makes the victory that much sweeter.

115-120 net... maybe 125 gross... very nice buck!
-
That pretty much sums up exactly what I was saying.
-
Come on... I'm sure you have plenty of 50" bucks to submit
-
Ahhh I stand corrected sorry

Presidential Sabotage?
nyantler replied to Doc's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
You said nothing about opposing principals... This is what you said.. "Leave nothing but a giant mess for the incoming, incompetent clown president to clean up. Sabotaging the incoming fool would be a welcomed departing gift." Sometimes liberals have trouble remembering exactly what it was they were taking about... the rest of us are here to remind you... now back under the bridge with you! -
I have a feeling that many older permit holder may not be attentive enough to realize they need to recertify and will have their permits revoked. I think we all know that is what this is about... it's a tricky gun grab scheme for those that don't pay attention.

I will be one. If they are giving me the opportunity I am going to take it. But, I am not naïve enough to believe the info still might not be there for all to see.
-
There is no fee... and they aren't sending out renewal forms so I'd check to make sure somebody isn't scamming you. You have to request a form from the website if you don't recertify online. No form of notification will be sent by the state to individuals.

Looks to be early 1900's based on the size of the parts... earlier models from 1873 were not as hefty... Intedge still is a manufacturer and distributor of kitchen type products... they probably bought the products wholesale from Butchers, mfg. back then and were selling them along with other kitchen products at the time.

FREE COLLEGE !!!!
nyantler replied to growalot's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
There was a time when college just wasn't for everyone... either because of financial reasons, grades, or choice of occupation. Somewhere along the line people got the notion that every kid should go to college. Use to be if you couldn't afford it you didn't go. Now parents send their kids to college regardless of whether they can afford it or not. If you have your heart set on college it would be a good idea to save the money, get good grades and make sure you are going for a degree where you can actually find employment when it's all over. If you decide to borrow the money you must understand that it is an investment in YOUR future with a debt to be owed for that investment. The cost of your education is on you... If you can't afford it there are plenty of openings for electricians, carpenters, plumbers, heavy machinery operators etc... with payed, on the job, training if you want to work. -
I am proud to say that I became the proud grandfather of two beautiful twin girls on Dec. 18, 2016... they were born 2 months early and they will have to spend some time in the hospital until they put on some weight, but they are doing well... and so another chapter in life begins.

Yeah makes sense to me to spotlight a deer from truck then wait for the perfect shot to kill it with a bow... then park the truck and get out to track an arrow hit deer with a flashlight as it runs farther from the vehicle for however long it takes to die... usually on posted property... then drag it un-gutted as fast as I can back to the truck... all before anyone comes by wondering what the truck is doing parked on the side of the road and why there is a guy with a flashlight dragging a deer in the dark on posted property. Think about this for a second until it sinks in... then you'll have no problem understanding why a gun is a much better choice for the idiot spotlighting and shooting deer. Unless you think I'm making up the part about maybe the poacher wanting to get things done and get out of Dodge as quickly as possible. Or did you mean I made the part up about the airplanes? Because that part is true.

The dew claws usually leave a mark slightly higher than the hoof print in the rear of the track... not always distinctly like a heavy buck butt visible none the less with most bigger bucks.

Binoculars vs monocular. For hunting.
nyantler replied to zeus1gdsm's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
With my eyesight as of late I'm going with telescope.. -
The biggest reason would be that there are more gun related laws that can be broken. None of those weapons loaded themselves or asked to be present when the idiot made his decision to break the law. Do you blame the weapon for terrorist killings as well? Because that would make airplanes responsible for the largest mass killing in the US... you getting how silly your logic sounds yet?
