Yeah... they're are great picks aren't they? Well unless you were expecting Hillary to get elected.. I suppose then his picks might make you want to retreat to your safe place.. or there is always a "cry-in" you can attend with some university "cupcakes" somewhere.

It's all about the chef!! My grandmother could make a boot taste good.

"poisons" exactly the right word... The left's screams are something not to take because its bad for people just like poison. The left has been poisoning this country for long enough... you liberals have now been served your medicine so just take it! I can see you don't like the taste. Has to taste better than the crow you're eating though.

I will be scoring this buck taken by Jim Murphy... have seen it personally and its BIG... didn't have time to give it a green score. Looks to be in the 190's gross as a non-typical Link for the story on the giant car hit buck https://m.facebook.com/story.php…

At this stage of the game... just killing a deer doesn't excite me... it's about the experience for me... and personally I think the bigger deer give me the greatest challenge. But, even that doesn't do it for me anymore... I like challenging myself as well... more primitive style weapons, staying on the ground, getting up close and personal, and hunting in lower density areas. It makes the kill all that much more satisfying. Meat hunting is easy for me... big buck hunting not so much.

Don't Screw with Hilary

HAHA... if they think Assange wasn't prepared for this they are more stupid than everyone already thought. The emails keep on coming!! -
Ethical or not I'm not real fond of tracking a wounded deer in the rain. I think it's the hunters call... I love hunting in the rain on the ground, but am not willing to risk losing the deer I worked so hard for. Totally different story with the gun.

What is the biggest deer ever taken on state land in new york
nyantler replied to LJC's topic in Big Woods Hunting
Keeping those kinds of records can be a nightmare logistically.. it's hard enough to get the little info we get -

nyantler replied to LJC's topic in Big Woods Hunting
The NYS BIg Buck Club does not keep record of whether the buck was taken on state land or private land... there is no where that I am aware of to find out that info. -

Anyone going out for the early ML season up north?
nyantler replied to Caveman's topic in Muzzleloaders
Getting myself out can be a challenge sometimes... let alone a 400 lb. passenger!! -

nyantler replied to Caveman's topic in Muzzleloaders
Passed on a huge male bear that came up behind me and to my left while walking up the mountain... Maybe 400 lbs. at 25 yards... I was just too far in to even think about getting him out of the woods. Talk about an itchy trigger finger!! Trophy bear with round ball? My God I wanted to shoot him soo badly, but it just wasn't the right time. I must admit too... I was ready to shoot him.. then he stopped behind two trees and gave me a second to think about it... after making the decision to pass I got a bit nervous when he hung around for a minute or so that close. He moved on however without ever knowing I was there. -

The only time I leave a deer overnight is if I've given it ample time to die and bump it on the first trailing of blood. Whitetails are so unpredictable... they are very resilient with some older bucks having the fortitude to last a while even after a good placed shot. If I can help it I'd rather not have a night of little sleep waiting for the next morning to come to recover my deer.

I find that those who are afraid of some kind of illegal activity happening during the youth hunt usually are close to the type of person they are most afraid of or their friends are those types.
