  1. I'm not even sure what J-walking is. I remember, and it doesn't seem like it was that long ago, when they painted lines on our road!
  2. Or if there's nothing valuable in there anyway just leave the door unlocked? If they can just walk right in and out at least they would'nt have to break anything.
  3. Umm, actually that is the only reasonable part of the SAFE act. There was not a means to keep that info private and now there is. Just drop the one page form off at you permit office and your information is no longer available to the public. The State was not the ones who published all the permit holders info on a map, that was a newspaper.
  4. 9pt, 175 lbs. Big woods Adirondack buck.
  5. I haven't even seen any bucks since they took the snap beans off about a month ago.
  6. @ work; same as last year and probably next year.
  7. $33.82/$1000 here. $4500. Excuse me while I go throw up now.
  8. For traditional: Tollgate Archery in West Winfield. Modern: Another 2 thumbs up for Ian Brucker, the Bow Guru at Lillies Agway in Holland Patent. I've never been to AJ's but I wasn't too impressed with the girl working their booth at the Syracuse gun show this spring. They had crossbows set up for people to try and I watched one guy taking aim and this girl never even looked and just walked right across in front of him! If he hadn't been paying attention the twit would've had a bolt right through the side of her damn head.
  9. I never even "stop back in" to check on anything anymore. When I drop it off I say "give me a call when it's ready".
  10. Haven't done it but I have talked to my FFL about it and he gets $35 to do any transfer. Someone in the shop said "but, but the law says you can only charge $10" and his response was basically -good luck getting someone to do it for that.

    Hit

A guy I know hit a black bear with his motorcycle up the road from the Buffalo Head in Foresport one time.
  12. Haven't put one slug through that kickin' sumbish since they opened Oneida County to rifle. I'd rather shoot 5 rounds through my .450 Marlin for every 1 through my 12ga model 500!
  13. Funny how it complains that "nobody has the guts to tell you" but the author doesn't have the guts to sign it.
  14. I've used it quite a few times with good luck. I only had a minor issue one time and it wasn't a big deal, just a small communication wrinkle.
  15. That's the other New York. I believe it's state number 54 or 55?
  16. Was never a beach kind of guy. Only thing I know about beaches I got from watchin' Jaws.
  17. Guess you have to know the location? I take it Jonse must be incorrect, the rest of the words look fine to me?
  18. Not a slam but I don't think hunting over bait would be for me. I always wanted to try running them with hounds. To me THAT seems like it would be a blast!
  19. Until you read the "About us" section it isn't really that clear.
  20. I'd bet there's no difference since Hodgdon, IMR and Winchester powders are all the same company now.
  21. Meet me in Montana.

  22. They have the short cut powders under both the Hodgdon and IMR lines. They (Hodgdon/IMR)claim they are identical ballistically, just cut shorter to flow through powder measures easier.
